As a dual citizen who currently living in Hawaii. No matter how beautiful and nice Hawaii is, I would still go back to retire in Thailand. I will rent out my house and make sure it can paying it own taxes and mine while I live in Thailand.
To those out there who can’t quite make out what is the point of comparing from this clip. Here is our analysis that might open up a new perspective. It is not how big the city is -or living cost that all lives on this planet have to face with. It’s more about how happiness is being balanced out to the possible reality within a particular city or place you are living in= this is what makes a different. Do you ever hear the phrase of characteristics becoming a charismatic charm when describing something that can’t be touched but truly addictive inside a person mind and is not an illusion or enthusiasm,-and personally we called it ZEN. Now - Thailand is full of this wonderful character charms because of their beautiful cultures and way of being that gave people with less off a happier life channeling options. Let not forget staying positive is force while optimistic is a characterized. Of course there is bad and good and no country is perfect but perception wise there is a reason why many are addicted and making countless trips back to Thailand when they could have gone to many other places with such given opportunities. We went to the USA Often during our 30 but completely stopped now because The USA can’t be compared to places like Japan or Thailand or Indonesia and definitely had lost its magnetic essence of American dreams and truly a lost culture without ZEN of life.
Man this vid took some planning…!!! But to comparing Bangkok to your city is a bit unfair your city is more peaceful whereas BKK is so hectic, Maybe Bangkok vs New York?
Subway in New York Dirty and looks very dangerous. You can't walk around in the dark in New York. But in Bangkok, I woke up at 2 a.m. and walked 800 meters without anyone harming me. because people are still walking around And there are police driving by all the time. There is a lot of food available 24 hours a day in Bangkok. New York has one large public park. But Bangkok has up to 8 gardens scattered in every point of the city. If you compare Bangkok beats New York in everything except traffic.
Now I understand why you said you needed the chaotic city scenery, you are actually coming from a very quiet hood so it’s normal to want different. Still best of both worlds .
To be fair, it took us decades to raise awareness of public littering, and all 80s and 90s kids grew up reciting the Magic Eye campaign (a Big Brother-esque campaign that tells people to put in trash bins). Public Order took another decade shaming people to queue up for services and smoking only in designated areas. Bangkok is still a work in progress, and it helps that Thais are able to travel and see positive examples from other global cities. The challenge is to balance progress with the preservation of Bangkok’s essence. We are discovering and redefining who we are as a city as we grow.
Bkk has everything but your in a massive city. I may get bored in the countryside of the northeast. Pattaya has everything and close too BKK. Hua Hin is also a good choice and not as active as pattaya
People might argue that you didn't compare the biggest and the most modern city in the US to Bangkok. But ... when considering the same living expense, all of the cities in Thailand can easily win over US cities. The living expense in the rural and boring areas of the US is similar to living a luxurious life in Bangkok.
👍🏻 I do like your videos about comparing 🇺🇸&🇹🇭 and thank you 🙏 to share us about positive environment in 🇹🇭 but in this day some foreigners are disrespect Thailand with their rude.

@@staceymartin_ Yeah man, I live in a small town here in South Carolina; I rarely go to the mall. Thank you very much. I like Thailand and Bangkok. It's just a comparison. *Crime Rates in Kalamazoo, MI (USA)* With a crime rate of 63 per one thousand residents, Kalamazoo has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 16. Yike!! 😱😱
I'm very surprised! It doesn't look like a high-crime area of the US like LA or SF at all. BTW, I also live in Bangkok and I even still watch my back in certain places like outdoor markets, fairs, etc..
As a Thai I would say comparing mid city Thailand to somewhere outside the city isn't a fair comparison. And I've just watched a video about USA suburban problems, too many regulations, not walk friendly and so on, is it really true? Much love and greetings from Thailand 🎉
I’m opposite of you, I was born and raised in Bangkok I’ve been to Canada for a master’s degree and working there around 4 years and found myself I love nature and quietness maybe I have enough of crowd and heat.
I mean, you are comparing 11 million population with 74k population area. We don't have that much land because the whole country which is smaller than a state in US, people in Thailand will be cluster up together more and making investment in facilities worth it since they all get to use it. Coverage of infrastructure is what seems to be the only thing we get going for. but If you start going out to Rural area. its will definitely look like Kalamazoo, MI for sure.
Yes, Thailand is getting hotter. Because of global warming But Thailand is becoming a country that reduces global warming. By using electric cars instead of gasoline cars. There are solar farms and dams to produce electricity. But surrounding neighbors like Burma, Laos, and Cambodia have burned forests and farms. to create enormous pollution into Thailand Because Thailand is the only democracy. So they destroyed Thailand with polluted air. and cultural claims That's what I know from satellite evidence.
Your house area so green. A lot of trees. This is what I jealous. I want to complain one thing about Bangkok (or Thailand in general) is about road crossing at red light intersection. it's not made me feel safe at all, compare to Singapore or Europe .
I think it's unfair to compare Bangkok, a capital city, to your hometown. I think your hometown has similarity of Konkean, a big city in North Eastern. but I see your point. Even in Konkean the malls are more lively than the mall in your hometown. I'm glad you enjoy our city. Thank you.
But I like your hometown better. So beautiful, peaceful neighborhood! The weather must be much better and I love four season country like USA. Relocation plan is in the long wait process. By the way, your vdo is super cool!
The one important factor you left out is the COST and the living expense difference , and yes eating fresh fruit makes a huge difference and its a way of life in Thailand .... keep living your best life .
I mean you can find busy cities in the US too haha. But it's not nearly on the same level of Asia. NYC is the only city that is comparable maybe, other US cities literally have small populations like 1M, 2M. Rural areas of thailand aren't that bad it seems how I imagine rural towns in the US are.
I leave my love country thailan when i was 29 yrs and i live my love united state of America since 1998 till now and just wen back to visit 2 time totaly 1 month, dont think i born wrong place, 2 place it difference traditional one based on Buddhist and another one base on Christian.

Honestly, As a Thai people i prefer to live more peaceful like your house in USA. But Thailand It's chaos but i still luv it though.
I’m opposite of you, I was born and raised in Bangkok I’ve been to Canada for a master’s degree and working there around 4 years and found myself I love nature and quietness maybe I have enough of crowd and heat.
Thank you for share your experience 🙏😊 i like both
I mean, you are comparing 11 million population with 74k population area.
The heat in Thai summer is deadlier each year. Even locals couldn't stand it. I see lots of trees in your city. Weather must be nice.
Yes, Thailand is getting hotter. Because of global warming
But Thailand is becoming a country that reduces global warming.
By using electric cars instead of gasoline cars.
There are solar farms and dams to produce electricity.
But surrounding neighbors like Burma, Laos, and Cambodia have burned forests and farms. to create enormous pollution into Thailand
Because Thailand is the only democracy. So they destroyed Thailand with polluted air. and cultural claims That's what I know from satellite evidence.
he lived in Michigan, which is a northern state in the United States, it gets really cold there during the winter and lots of snow.

Bro, It is like comparing kamasu and new york. It is mega city vs tiny city or somewhere far away.
Your house area so green. A lot of trees. This is what I jealous.
I want to complain one thing about Bangkok (or Thailand in general) is about road crossing at red light intersection. it's not made me feel safe at all, compare to Singapore or Europe .
Great video. I know you missing Bangkok right now.
I think it's unfair to compare Bangkok, a capital city, to your hometown. I think your hometown has similarity of Konkean, a big city in North Eastern. but I see your point. Even in Konkean the malls are more lively than the mall in your hometown. I'm glad you enjoy our city. Thank you.
Do you work in thailand or just living off saved funds? Almost moved to Thailand but fell in love with vietnam
How is Vietnam? I want to go visit
@@staceymartin_ I love it. I've spent some time in saigon and da nang. Definitely worth a visit
I hope you love and miss here we you come back to Thailand again.Take care.🙏 ❤😊🎉🎊
But I like your hometown better. So beautiful, peaceful neighborhood! The weather must be much better and I love four season country like USA. Relocation plan is in the long wait process. By the way, your vdo is super cool!
No place is perfect brother, Love you from Thailand
Great vlog. Great comparison blog. Keep it up brother!
The one important factor you left out is the COST and the living expense difference , and yes eating fresh fruit makes a huge difference and its a way of life in Thailand .... keep living your best life .
Welcome to Thailand ❤👍
Hello! love you my friend form thailand
I’ll be back next month, I’m here because my sister is graduating
@@staceymartin_Welcome 😀
My brother lived in Kalamazoo for his master degree 30 years ago. 😢 Sad to hear. Welcome to TH ❤
Yeah i like 👍 your videos awesome
Damn this is a wave! Seem like everyone wants to relocate at some point
Trust me, it’s the wave for sure. Once you travel you see how America is really doing us dirty.
Hold it down while visiting the home state! Congrats to your Mom on the win! 🥇
I leave my love country thailan when i was 29 yrs and i live my love united state of America since 1998 till now and just wen back to visit 2 time totaly 1 month, dont think i born wrong place, 2 place it difference traditional one based on Buddhist and another one base on Christian.
Nice comparison bro!
Thailand bangkok > anywhere in the usa (ever day your video just solidify my decision to move. Full time there gonna be smart first and Vacation for 3 weeks. First but after that planning my move lol
Man the US is killing me, it’s not as fun as I remember it ever being
Thank you for liking Thailand. Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. To be fair, it must be compared to New York City in America or Washington or something like that. Thailand has good things like Thailand. America has good things like America. There are different advantages and disadvantages.
