Thank you sm!! & No, I did the bleach mixture separately & then I just applied the color straight to my head. For the color, I didn’t add any bleach or developer to it since my hair was already lightened.

You did a great job for this to be your first time bleaching your hair and coloring,only thing i would say is i could really see the pink it blended with the red a lot and i don’t know if that’s from the camera or not, it what i do know is the way you colored your hair looks like a professional did it,awesome job😊

Thank you for showing the shampoo that you use cause seem like no body do they be leaving that part out. And can i just use any shampoo? I been wanting to color my hair for two years now but scare. So i am seeing every info about it
You’re welcome ❤️ & everyone’s hair is different. The specific shampoo I used was because I seen someone use it in their hair coloring video but I’m sure if you use any shampoo catered to strengthening the hair or for colored hair, it’ll be good 😊

I totally understand lol I was scared to dye mine as well but I told myself to push past the fear & just go for it & omg I’m definitely going to get some piercings this summer! I’m so happy you did it lol

Does your hair ever break off?,I’ve had them dyed and the dyed part tends to break/rip off.
Peace 🤍 I no longer have my locs because I chose to cut them off but personally, my ends never broke off & my locs were still very healthy by the end of my journey. I chose to cut them off for spiritual reasons, I never experienced any breakage. It may help to change shampoos/conditioner & see if that works for you. ❤️❤️❤️
How long did you leave the bleach in for?

Did your hair color bleed a lot?
No, not in my opinion. I would recommend to shampoo your hair really well until the water runs nearly almost clear. I waited to shampoo for the first 24 hours because I heard that you could get the most out of your hair color that way & I wanted to take pics lol but even after washing, I still felt as though my hair was super vibrant (still is) & I didn’t have any hair dye on my sheets when I woke up. Hope this helps. ❤️
@@theconcreterose444 thanks for the reply. I just dyed my hair, but I use splat hair dye which made my hair bleed a lot. But wanted to switch to a better brand when this color fades. It turned out similar like yours. Almost like a neon red and I like it but it bleeds way too much.
You’re welcome & oh ok. I definitely recommend Arctic Fox. The colors are rlly vibrant & it seems to be holding up for me. I think I’ll use it again for next time

Lol such a good question. I counted them just for you 😂 I have 51 locs
I hope you use a neutralizing shampoo with all that chemical processing and Vaseline or something to protect your edges. Also, never wash before bleaching or ‘not shampoo completely after bleaching. That’s a recipe for disaster. Good luck on your loc journey.

You dont use neutralizing shampoo with bleach. Only with a relaxer. If you go to a salon they use regular shampoo and a deep treatment conditioner. Protein treatment if your hair is weak.
@@kavataward2908You can use a neutralizing shampoo and/or Olaplex etc; to stop any chemical process and restore the ph balance to the hair. Bleach and dye are chemicals that alter your hair strands. That only makes sense. Any so-called salon specialist that isn’t using a shampoo that restores the balance/bonds does not specialize in healthy hair care. So why the opposition.
