I am from India and I am currently in 10th grade please would you give some suggestions to me which can help me in getting into Harvard. Is 9th grade important as in academics 'coz I just got 89% in 9th grade and Is the final examinations which are held at the end of a session's marks count or the mid-terms too? Please answer Tarah. Hiya! Just want to preface by saying I am by no means an admissions officer so please take what I say with a grain of salt. Most colleges, including Harvard, take a holistic view of your file. So they look at your grades from 9-12th grade. Just make sure you are within the range of normally admitted students and don't worry too much about the 89, as long as you show an upward trend. hope that helps! and good luck with your studies! 💖

thank you for the well wishes 💗 as per your questions..I would say that like many spaces it can be hard to navigate at times, but it's really important to advocate for yourself and create that space. I will say Harvard has a lot of black communities so you can definitely find that sense of belonging and community here. ahahaha the food 😂 it is in fact hit or miss. sometimes the dining hall does great other times not so much, but then again this is college dining soooo(take that as you will). hope that answered your questions. sending much love 🫶🏽
@@hitarahjane thank you so much for your reply! We will be in Boston next summer. Our daughter was invited to be a part of a medical congress. We will spend 3 days at the congress. We are gonna spend the whole week there so that we can visit Harvard. Maybe we will get to meet you. She wants to study pharmacy and her biology teacher says that Harvard would be great for her. We shall see what the Lord says! Also we live in Texas……looooonnnnnggggg way from home. But the Lord will protect and provide.
generally speaking houses are assigned for 3 of the 4 years at Harvard and is done so through a housing lottery. It's a really exciting time of the year when we get sorted into upperclassmen houses (think of the Hogwarts hat ceremony).
echoing what @Dice Phil said, reach out to your doctor and start an open convo. but also identify some of the reasons you find yourself sleeping late (are they in your control?). but again, best and safest bet is to talk it out with a trusted medical professional. just some advice from me, but hope that helps 💖💖

I was wondering about your housing. I've seen some videos about some housing pool or choice that you're in for years 2-4. Any info?

I actually don't (and probs will)...but I'm sure it's more than 10k steps a day 😂✨💖
