Kinda wild how little you all say about control in this podcast. Having just read Rorty, I think his resistance to final vocabularies is damn near transgressive. Exposing the foulness and falsehood of contemporary vocabularies is a praxis. This is a praxis against control - where we assume a final vocabulary, we are controlled. Where we resist that vocabulary, we become free.
i dont want to be a dick guys cause i like your podcast but in this episode you all spend waaay too much time talking about your opinions on the text and way to little on the actual debate of between Habermas and Rorty
Words can't be defined. This is something you learn when you growup.
I want to hear Peterson’s analysis of ‘do’
I want to see him talking about biopolitics
Please upload the one about Žižek's Organs without bodies!
Does anyone have the title of the text being discussed? Perhaps I'm simply not paying enough attention and missed it but would like to read it!
Hi, if you still need an answer, here you go: "Habermas, Derrida and the Functions of Philosophy".
it would be really cool if you invited matt christmann from the chapo trap house to talk about acid marxism
Peterson going full-on Derrida - great pull!
I think Pills should debate Peterson 😏
Jordan Peterson postmodernist arc? I wait with bated breath
Vervake is Eckhart Tolle for post grad students.
