That hand off to Penei Sewell has got to be one of the all-time hypest play that lost yards. Everyone was cheering, despite Sewell not making it past line of scrimmage. The day the Sewell runs a ball into the end zone (without a flag) is going to be the loudest Ford Field ever gets.
The last play is really unique because Ben Johnson drew up a play that didn't work, even in practice. The offensive linemen came up with this play and sold it to the coaching staff. What you don't hear is the linemen and players on the side line scream "FUMBLE!" as the play happens.
6:51 this play happened right in front of me while on vacation in Arizona. It was magic, perfect play call, got six points, I lost my mind as a neutral observer
God I'm gonna miss Ben Johnson when he inevitably gets an insane head coaching offer that he can't pass up. Still thankful we got this extra year with him.
I got to wondering why they did the stumble against the lowly Bears. The only thing I can think is that it balances their range for when they actually fumble. Some defenders might stay home an extra beat and allow the Lions to get the ball back.
I want this team to be in the superbowl so bad. They've been such a bad team for so long (like the first ever 0-16 team in 2008) and it would be so fun to see them win it all. Just please not the chiefs again... and I say this as a neutral cardinals fan.
I said he embarrassed the players, one guy got stiff armed through the outer layer of the earths crust, and then 4 tacklers later he eventually just walks out of bounds.
For what it’s worth, those were under “just plays I like” and technically, those are designed to be tricky albeit they are the most common “trick plays” and the the only draw I included was the very fast pump fake like it was a screen that I liked

don't forget that on the fake stumble the entire sideline is yelling "BALL" to help sell the fumble
WOW
Also don't forget that Ben Johnson initially wanted Goff to actually fumble

Besides the point of the video but my god 58 is a human highlight reel.
Penei Sewell 😭🔥🙏
that is penei sewell to you sir
Ben Johnson is a wizard and Allen Park is his enclave. May he never depart, amen.
This is a fantastic compilation of all the Lions trick plays, ad great commentary here too. Thanks for the video!
Down by 3 at the Super Bowl. Sewell throws it to Goff for a walkoff touchdown
Penei Sewell is the best athlete on the Lions by far.
If the Lions make it to the Super Bowl, this list is only going to get longer and longer...
2:00 Dan Skipper doing that had me dead 😭

That DMo TD pass makes u believe he actually was passing QB in high school
Excellent topic for a video! Go Lions!!!
Thank God you're putting a professional NFL teams play in your own personal playbook.

The difference between the Lions play designs compared to the Steelers is comical. Tired of the Steelers being stuck in the 80s
The 80’s had some damn good offenses. Don’t slander the 80’s like that. Or any era of the NFL after the 60’s.
@@tromboneman4517 yeah they're more stuck in Iowa in the Big 10.
You forgot the hook and ladder against the Seahawks. I get it though, there were SO MANY.

you should do a video on every teams best fake this season
Ingenuetous!
I mean the Bears are absolutely embarrassing this season, but how is the play at 5:53 embarrassing for the Bears? Didn't the guy lose yardage?
I said he embarrassed the players, one guy got stiff armed through the outer layer of the earths crust, and then 4 tacklers later he eventually just walks out of bounds.
@@IsaacPunts I guess, it's just hard to embarrass other players when you're the one who lost yards
Mark Davis, if you're reading this, please don't ever let Crosby go.
Watch this space...
The hook and fake lateral is coming. I can feel it.
Sewell anytime TD vs Commanders?
1 more day left to mourn the Vikings and become a Goff fanboy again
Nooooooooooooooooooo why that play
(I'm a bears fan)
🔥
Poggies
You should probably look up the word "ingenuity"
I really hate that I enjoy watching them.
Didn’t know draws and sally counter were trick plays

nice vid i sack
Make it more efficient??? No dude make a 10 min video and get ur money bru
The best part of the fake fumble play was even when Gibbs hit the ground, he got up and made a key block still
