I'm so glad Mandy Moore is such a damned delight. I just have to take a moment to brag about the fact that I had *fantastic* taste in celebrity crushes like 25 years ago.
@@F9109-r1eI was thinking the same thing, learning that incoming money is always going to be needed for expenses is valuable, teaching them to pay “bills” as soon as they get paid is really good. I mean they could have just said their kids’ allowance is $3 less than whatever it is, but the kids don’t learn how money works that way. I mean, I didn’t get an allowance at all, so maybe I’m not the best judge of this but I think it’s better to raise functional humans instead of people who cry over bills coming up _every month_
Whoever got Mandy Moore to say yes to coming on this show, should be given a raise, a promotion or both because she is my favorite actress/singer. “1 star, and it’s the f-in sun!” Love this!
I love you too, Tyler! ❤ Love your show! I used to watch Craig Ferguson on this “timeslot” all the way from Germany and skipped the last late late and am happy to be back watching a late night show that I don’t want to miss. 🎉❤
I actually love that parent idea! I think it teaches great responsibility also they are like five it makes it a game not stressful and she gives them the allowance that covers all the "rent"
Mandy Moore answered the question honestly instead of trying to be funny, and I love it because I think that's how I would be too, completely forgetting the point of the show.
So no one wanted to defend the indispensable, versitile peace emoji? With just one emoji you can say 5 different things: 1. goodbye 2. peace be with you 3. V for victory 4. two 5. F off!
Her character wrote the play Kevin was going to be in and got involved with Kevin and took over the lead role when the original actress flaked, but then that actress came back and wanted to hook up with Kevin and he said something insulting about sticking with Milana's character because it was the right thing to do, which she, of course, overheard. I can't recall what happened with the play but I think that's when Kevin leaves halfway through to find Randall having a breakdown.
Look. This goes for a LOT of people. Apparently GI health is pretty hard for most people. But pooping shouldn't be difficult, time consuming or overly stinky. I eat chipotle and Taco Bell regularly and I'm generally fine. Regular exercise, minimal alcohol consumption and not having any more than ~5-6 8oz cups of coffee a day is probably 90% of what I'm doing right and that all seems achievable. Maybe not for the average McDonald's worker who gets paid so little that they HAVE to eat the free food they get on their shift AND get paid so little that a gym membership may be inaccessible. But as a student working as a lifeguard I JUST got a raise to $20/hr at my year-round job after spending 2 years arguing that my 10+ years of experience warranted a raise. So aside from having a pool to swim in I'm not exactly rolling in a money bin. To paraphrase the subtitle of Stephen Colbert's book "I can poop; now you can too!"
I like how people basically think teaching their kids to be fiscally responsible is child abuse. Maybe this is why we have millions of people falling into crippling credit card debt? 🤷
I'm not so much bothered by the mum charging for rent and expenses, I'm bothered that she wants her kids to have to spend three fifths of their income on basic expenses. That's too real.
0:34 hard pass. No pun intended. I think people who don’t tell you these things love you. And I’m okay with the parent making their kids do 3 little chores a week. That’s called the 80s-90s 😅. Cheap food and rent. 😅 FYI: most women still do most of the housework even with full time jobs. How is THAT fair? If one parent isn’t doing their fair share, charge them for extra child care, etc. 10:00. Did I or Chris misread that emoji? I don’t think it’s an angry emoji. I thought it was embarrassed face.
8:58 I screen captured the chart of emojis going extinct and posted it to my Twitter. So I'm just posting this here so I can get the link from that time stamp at the start of the previous sentence. Be seeing you.
I say again. Give the After Midnight booking agent a raise they are fabulous
Ask and you shall receive, because the format and the host are fun and brilliant.
I'm not so excited by using the show to promote CBS instead of finding the craziest comedians possible.
(Yes, I know about This Is Us.)
@@ethanmckinney203 you say that, but we also had Drew Carey's Phish story so
@h0lly_blue That was one of the two high point of the show.
"DAAAADDYYY!!! I WANNA STAND AT THE RAAAAAIILLLL!!!"
its the whole energy of the studio. Reminds me of craig ferguson
I'm so glad Mandy Moore is such a damned delight. I just have to take a moment to brag about the fact that I had *fantastic* taste in celebrity crushes like 25 years ago.
Same here. I've always respected how she balances her faith and her profession. And she's just incredibly talented/gorgeous.
“Wait, your parents didn’t make you feel like a financial burden?” 😂😭
These days, teaching financial literacy is probably a great sign of loving parents.
My stepdad did after he stopped finding a job for five years!

My parents STILL make me feel like a financial burden in my 40s!
Jokes on them, I still am lol
another day, another slay outfit by Taylor Tomlinson's fashion team

Ain't no way this show pulled off a "This is Us" panel that included Mandy freaking Moore.
This show has found it's perfect format. It should never change until it's canceled in 20 years.
God I love Taylor. I laugh so hard at her monologues
I love you too, Tyler! ❤ Love your show! I used to watch Craig Ferguson on this “timeslot” all the way from Germany and skipped the last late late and am happy to be back watching a late night show that I don’t want to miss. 🎉❤
Also, tax the kids ? Don’t give the GOP any ideas 😂
I actually love that parent idea! I think it teaches great responsibility also they are like five it makes it a game not stressful and she gives them the allowance that covers all the "rent"
If it doesn't burden them too much, I also don't think it's that bad. Nothing wrong if it works for their household
I still think the Terry Crews, Joe and Patton episode was the GOAT but this was was great too.
I love you, too, Taylor.
Mandy Moore answered the question honestly instead of trying to be funny, and I love it because I think that's how I would be too, completely forgetting the point of the show.
Right? She's just adorable 😅
Yes, I laugh really hard when it's a pannel of comedians, they usually nail it, when it's "regular" show people trying to be funny, dude: shut up!
I didn’t realize how much I love Mandy Moore until I, an elder millennial, audibly said YAAAAAAY! When she came out. Love her!
Winky tongue emoji is one of my favorites! 😜

Argh kind of a This is us episode! I am loooosing my mind 😍😍😍
Rapunzel, Taserface and the shoulda-been Squirrel Girl... what a lineup
“ that’s a madness”
Op well I use 2/4 endangered emojis often😳😜
Before the mid-20th century no one "moved out" until they were married. Many never "moved out" at all.
I love you, Taylor Tomlinson.
They can't get rid of the ✌air quotes✌ emoji!
I have NEVER seen anyone use them as air quotes 💀

4:44 Gyatt Milana!
finally a video I've seen before it aired (the pocket money)
Yes Taylor. Men are conditioned to never express our emotions from basically birth. My wife is discovering this all the time.
its mens fault tho, and tho the damage was done decades ago by every persons psychology in the world, its your fault
@@Palidine4M0O do you think you are helping?
I guess I didn't get the memo...
From a man's perspective..... I believe that's an endorsement of poop behaviors because women never say what they mean. We are left to guess, right?
Wait no I use almost all those emojis on a regular basis 😂 😭
I love how she's just "I'm commercial's Milana Vayantrup". Her job is just "commercial" She's like Ken and Beach.
This is peak latenight television
4 stars only 2 starbucks
Chris saying "and you and you and you" I was sure he was going to belt put songs from RENT.
I love Mandy Moore!
Luv U 2 TT 💞
wasn't Milana in This Is Us as well? one of Kevin's fling
Yes, she was in 8 episodes in 2016-17 (so says Wikipedia).
One of the kid's names is Stiffany?
Book the Werewolves Within triple play - Milana, Josh Ruben, ans Sam Richardson. That would be amazing
Some of those emojis on that list I used to use a fair amount, but now I don't anymore. I'm not even sure why.
Milana!
I wasn't charged rent, but I didn't get allowance either. Chores were just done, there was no reward.
We teach our kids everything else as early as possible, why not money management? As long as she still feeds them.
And we don’t know she’s not putting the money aside for them later in life.
Oh congrats Mandy! Love a very short gig for a pregnant person haha hope she got home in good time

Isn't #12 the Delphine emoji?
What was cut (they had 300ish points, then they had 600ish points)?

guess thats why its deleted
He called it the shocked emoji and said it means someone has gone too far in a conversation
I wonder what happens if those kids don't hit the chore quota for the month? They sleep in the yard?
I think the most surprising thing about this show is how funny many actors are, and yet they chose not to be comedians.

Thanks for the update
The bar is always empty
No one noticed a kids name was "Stiffany" ?!?
And if she sits on the end of the tub talking your ear off while you drop a duece; she loves you
The emoji thing was.. yeah I would ask the writers if they're okay. No one cares that much about emojis.
no need to ask.. def not ok. thats why we love them

Mandy's a great person but she's not really a comedian. She doesn't quite suit the vibe and tone of this show.
