Have taken the Vietnamese noodle soup and the Vietnamese spring rolls and it's really delicious 😋! In fact, I bought the Vietnamese rice paper few days ago to make my own spring rolls. Unfortunately, I haven't tasted the Vietnamese coffee yet which I heard is very tasty. Why not teach your non-Vietnamese subscribers some simple Vietnamese which can be used as a tourist like "Good Morning", "Thank you", "How much does this product cost?", "Can you give discounts for this item?", etc. A sample TH-cam video is attached below - learning Thai language. Can you do a video on the buildings in Hanoi region, I think they call them rocket houses, how are they built straight up. Three stories tall? What influenced that style. The French. Can you give history in the French occupation, still not clear on why foreign countries take over another like that. Different types of banh mei, how it differs from region to region. The picked veggies, fresh pepper, etc. And the United States. I prefer the grilled pork in the US, do they have that option over there? Actually when in Hanoi, couldn’t find a good banh mei, just street vendors looked dangerous to eat. I came back and said the best food is in US, little Saigon area. We had a hard time finding street food by the locals or it look unsanitary. Thanks for your channel.

Unfortunately, "The Bug" got in the way. Things are improving though so, maybe I can get there soon. I also love Japan! I actually am planning to retire there if possible. I am already learning the language in preparation for that move. Maybe I could be your tour guide? Don't get a pet! Tempting -- yes -- but they are a time (and money) consuming ball-and-chain that will make it difficult to travel anywhere. You will LOVE Japan. It's a remarkable country with so many interesting places and things to experience. It's NOT cheap, but is workable with some planning, and it's well worth the expense. Knowing somebody there can help a lot. Send a note if you have any questions about it!
There was a restaurant in Huntington Beach, California in the early 2000s with the same name of What The Pho. Like any restaurant, it did not last long and went out of business.
What I would like to see/learn more of (especially while more locked down) is comparisons between US and VN. You mention liking noodle soups. So what was your American favorite and how does it compare to your Vietnamese favorite? Custom differences you like, found most shocking, etc etc You have a rare perspective where you are local but have spent such a large percentage of your life in the US. So you can give a perspective similar to a US expat while also like a local. Plus you don't seem "jaded" about either country which is a bit too common among vloggers. I'm not part of that audience that wants to hear about someone talking about why they hate the country they are an expat in.

Maybe an interesting future topic would be how to move around in Vietnam (I heard that Hà Nội will soon have a metro system!) but also between cities. Some day, when the pandemic situation is over, you could also show things like the origin of Vietnamese coffee or the different atmosphere in different neighbourhoods of the same city… just some ideas.
