I've been watching your videos for years and always get excited when you release a new one. But I have to say one thing that I didn't like about this particular one. Your vocals and descriptions are spot on but the weird live action footage was awkward and didn't really depict what you were describing. Overall it gave me the comical feel of some of those older shows like "Unsolved Mysteries" where they have actors portraying murders, and honestly I'm not a big fan of this version. I much prefer the old style you had with the drawings depicting the scenes. Regardless, thank you for uploading this video and thank you for all that you do! Sorry for being critical, I just thought you ought to know a different opinion. You're still awesome regardless!!

We all know why this is happen and how TH-cam is sadly destroying its own foundation for some financial gains. Maybe instead of these 'critiques' we should engage in methods of helping our favourite channels return to their former glory rather than complain.

I'm curious, how much does an illustrator cost? His patreon says he's making 11k $ per month, + the ad money, wouldn't that be enough? Atm the videos are just the same stock photos over and over again and even though I love Rob, I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed about that. With that much money as budget, a bit more than a slide show should be possible.

It is great to see someone my age have the same passion and gumption about these subjects and to represent them in a tasteful manner. Keep fighting the good fight Rob, we're right behind you!
It is stories like this that make the doctrine of Hell appealing. It is a comfort to know that all those who pushed Carl to become what he was, whether they afterwards found redemption or not, will have to face up to the part they played in this.

Dillon Young TH-cam is basically paying him nothing now because they think his content is "offensive". He doesn't have to money to pay illustrators for those drawings. He's doing the best he can with the low budget.
I've been watching your videos for years and always get excited when you release a new one. But I have to say one thing that I didn't like about this particular one. Your vocals and descriptions are spot on but the weird live action footage was awkward and didn't really depict what you were describing. Overall it gave me the comical feel of some of those older shows like "Unsolved Mysteries" where they have actors portraying murders, and honestly I'm not a big fan of this version. I much prefer the old style you had with the drawings depicting the scenes. Regardless, thank you for uploading this video and thank you for all that you do! Sorry for being critical, I just thought you ought to know a different opinion. You're still awesome regardless!!

They're demonetizing videos that have "offensive" words like skinny, Iran, death, and earthquake. As his channel is true crime, TH-cam has demonetized the majority of his videos.
lepsychokaybird I find it very interesting how quick viewers are willing critize someone's work and believe it is their right to do so. We all know why this is happen and how TH-cam is sadly destroying its own foundation for some financial gains. Yet we demand that channels still do the same thing as they did before, like children demanding the same treats even though their parents no longer have money. Maybe instead of these 'critiques' we should engage in methods of helping our favourite channels return to their former glory rather than complain.
I dont mean to be rude..but people need and have every right to criticise content, even though yes it is true that youtube is demonitizing channels but...do you need a quick reminder of what youtube is? its a platform where people get money for views...its a business..so yes, every person on every channel has a right to criticise what content is good and what content needs improving, yes saying mean and unhelpful stuff doesnt help and is...well...an asshole move, but if you're watching a video and dont like it, its only fair you say WHY you dont like it, because it helps the authors of the content, if they can appeal to everyone they can (while keeping the original spin on things) in the long run for views and subscriptions...and even if the same channels are banned from ad revenue...most subscribers are paying in patreon or some other means..so yes. its only fair you criticise content in a constructing way. especially if you're paying to keep the content alive, or just a general viewer or subscriber..not everyone is a "yes man"

Given the state of law enforcement and prison at the time, he could have murdered and raped hundreds of people. But when you look at the "horrible" childhoods of serial killers, it don't add up. I've only read a few books about serial killers, but it seems like the problem is them from an early age.
