It's nice seeing you Frank. I really hope people know how this channel helps. I found your channel when Rachael just had Mercy. I've been off Fentanyl for 2 years and methadone last year. If I didn't find this community I would have still been chasing the high. I'm from Los Angeles and was blown away when I saw Kensington. THANK YOU FRANK!!

Good you got off before the tranq too. That's not even an opiate, and it's tearing people apart just as bad as the drugs before, more so physically actually. Glad you're doing well, keep enjoying your life. I hope things keep going well for you.

Youve got a pure, genuine heart my friend. Im an recovered heroin-addict myself; been there done that for 9 years. Got methadone and made a 180.. Today Im a working welder, got car and motorbike and a beloved daughter born 2019. God bless you Frank and never forget where we came from (I know you wont ;)

Same in Australia no help till your out on the streets even if a non user !,it to late people loose there self worth ,there dignity and there mental health suffers and medical help you just give up on dental, eyes, psychology, appointments, physiotherapy appointments it’s so inhumane for these wealthy counties to push people to no return.
Sad sad world we live in.
Stay humble, kind and loving to all you never know what life will bring to your door .🙏

I’m from San Francisco the epicenter of the homeless or the un-house. I remember being a teenager walking down market and being disgusted by the homeless. I was clueless. I had no idea that these unfortunate people so many were coming with back from Vietnam. All these years later I am ashamed of myself for feeling that way. I came here to thank you for your channel. I don’t know why, but I just burst into tears when I found out U2 are an addict. What a beautiful spirit you have.

I have a brother who is a severe alcoholic. My mom and myself have a close relationship with him. All others have shunned him. Noone understands how we can still have anything to do with him. I wish he would get help. He's tried stopping on his own and had strokes. I can give him my unconditional love and listen to him when he's in a bad place mentally. It breaks my heart not being able to provide more. One family member even said to drag him into rehab. You can't make anyone change their life until they want it themselves. 😢

This is EXACTLY why drugs shouldn’t be legal… I just curious as to why the community isnt coming together and demanding changes and help for these people. If we have billions to send to Ukraine and other countries and we have billions to spend on illegals that would never qualify for asylum then we damn well have enough to help our own citizens

    Real QUESTION ...
Is this helping them , because isnt an important step before getting CLEAN is by feeling "sick & tired of being sick & tired"
This would only bring them some comfort; which delays the "sick & tired" feeling?

I agree....I didn't even try to fix myself until I was beyond sick and tired. This sort of thing does enable them....best bet that all of those sleeping bags are going to be used once and tossed, puked on, shyte in or traded for droogs. Addiction is a choice.

Yes, I think it helps. Research all over the world shows that people are best helped (in any case) when they are treated as human beings and not as junk, trash, menace and so on. By showing interest and respect, Frank is making them more aware of their humanity, which helps to make them want to help themselves. Just feeling sick and tired isn't doing anything. It's the hope and awareness that you don't have to be sick and tired that is causing the turnaround.
It's about what Dr. Martin Luther King said: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hatred cannot drive out hatred; only love can do that."
