Footballers houses and addresses are mainly kept very secret. I would also say footballer mansions are built/put in very rural areas. It so fans won't want to travel to some random village in the sticks to stalk a footballer.
Also I would add that if you were to stalk a footballer their team will get involved. The said footballer would be given a whole security detail, the team would also haul you into court.
Biggest reason they wouldn't give you the audio is because I am almost certain they would have said to your neighbour that they were only waiting there to meet you, thus giving themselves up that they intended to wait outside your house for you.
There is a chance that he was legitimately there on his own accord, and just happened to be down Toms road, but for him to go out of his way and make it evident to Tom just because he’s a big name, shows a lot about people that would perhaps go out of their way to find him

I know the road that Tom lives on and a public road or not, you do have to go out of your way to get on to it. It's not a main road that you'd just happen to drive down. His old place with his dad or the new place because I'd agree about the old place not being directly on a main road but maybe the new one sort of is. I remember back in the day he said he'd host gaming parties and stuff with fans but it's going to be more private than that now especially with starting a family compared to even a year or two ago when he made it clear people shouldn't hang around outside or wait for him or spy at him through windows and he had the two-way glass installed also. Part of me does think it'd be interesting to drive or walk past one day just to see the places in person as opposed to just online but at the same time I respect him and wouldn't want that happening to me on a regular basis if I had a bigger channel or even had work colleagues follow me home for example

Not being funny but it’s not don’t show up at his house I know his road very well in living 10 mins away at the top of the road it’s a beautiful view of the whole of Manchester and there’s a beautiful public path too show off the views so a lot of people park up it’s a public road and a public path so people are allowed to park there and go there
