Thanks for this wonderful conversation 🙏💚✨ I love that what has been is up ahead our ancestors went before us and we are following them. I am serving my corner of the world with devotion not distraction. Thank You for this again 🙏💚✨
@@claudelebel49 you get it. I live in the moment, which doesn't require hope since it's unfolding now. I try to make each moment the best it can be, and let future moments emerge from there.
May I help clarify the point about the importance of hopelessness? Remember the 1972 plane crash in the Andes? That rugby team? Under impossible circumstances, 16 survived, because they only took action to save themselves after they lost hope in rescue.
How can he say the centre of towns are self contained? They import all their foods/materials. Cut off any imports and town would last a matter of days before they deplete their resources. Tokyo uses more resources than the whole of Japan is able to produce for example
no …which I think is me agreeing with your point. it’s human arrogance of the highest order isn’t it?. we’re subatomic particles in an unfathomably huge universe. Falling to our knees in awe at its magnitude is in order.. amazed we have a place in its magnificence somehow is in order. thinking we can rearrange it with our thinking just isn’t.
Are you insinuating that stopping those two things alone will make everything fine? Do you expect every country in the world to end their militaries? Such a reductionist, ill thought out take
Thanks for putting all such lectures in the public space. This "shit show" called civilization will fall, sooner or later, however now is the time to divest and give up all exuberance and excess. Till we die...
What a beautiful conversation! A pleasure to spend this time with such profound thought and lovely people.
Thank you so so much…

A beautiful conversation. There is no way through without feeling the grief and owning it.
I've been living hope free since 2018. I highly recommend it.
Excellent 👍🙏
Hope is for the future, Peace is now. To be truly hopeless is to Be at Peace in the Now which is the only reality,

Hope can be distinguished from wishing. Wishing something to be true doesn't require any action on our part - hope does. So continue to hope.
@@j_t_p the definition of hope is an unrealistic expectation beyond your control. I'll pass, thanks.
2020 for me. Was a wake up call
Thank you for showing us a beginning point that acknowledges the reality of who we are as human beings.
Something is always coming down but Peace is Now regardless of circumstances. From there, you do what you are called upon to do.
And what will that be??????
@@cobus989 Are you being a smart-ass. Your question is for you to answer, not me.
Thank you so much, Michael.
Always.

I loved that story. I read the book '"Alive" as a teenager. It's an interesting analogy. 🙏
Lmao
So they lost hope in being rescued (=others) but not hope in themselves to make the difference. The terminology is interesting.

If you have not discovered the peace that passeth all understanding, anything you do or say will likely add to the mess
You are alive until you are not.
The current vibration is people who wish to be masters of the universe and change it from within themselves is that viable?

Shut down aviation and war industry
