I've known many scousers in my time. The bond between both clubs was that most of us were often skint working class. All doing our best to earn a few quid. (Some ducking & diving too)! We all supported our teams no matter what. Yes, you won practically everything, but at least you always respected the trip to Upton Park. Because you knew we'd give you a decent game. I was a season book holder at Upton park, that's how far back i go. I've never been to that soulless fishbowl and I never will. Our club died the night we left our home. Sad times!
@@silkyammer I really don’t see this ending well, seriously to spend the money and commit to mythical delusional ‘projects’ the way we have and still end up looking like a bunch of journeymen who only met last week, really isn’t going to reverse momentum now that funds are going to be so tight and having totally ignored the underlying decay for years while allowing short term fillers and band aids to cover the widening cracks while losing big money in so doing. Nick - I hope you are not right, but I fear you are correct. I'm 77 years old - an old time hammer. Season ticket holder at Upton Park for 30 years. I've seen us win the FA Cup 3 times, when it meant something! I've seen us perform well in the old Cup winners cup & enjoyed the football. The heritage seems to have gone now. I had an uncle who played for West Ham, my mum & dad were street urchins who played in the streets 3 or 400 yards from the old ground. I have two daughters who I've brought up to be supporters. When they were very young i used to take them over to Upton Park. Now it's a different kettle of fish - my girls ask me why do we bother? & I'm running out of answers. I've been to the London Stadium a few times (soleless, lacks atmosphere) my girls still go over occasionally. The magic has gone, so has the soul. I believe Davis Moyes said "he didn't know what the West Ham way was" I've heard Big Sam say the same. It's not that difficult as Billy Bonds said (This crowd like to see you put a shift in, leave the game with some grass stains on your shorts) This lot are an embarrassment. Indeed , gave up our heritage home to be sitting here watching shows like this , Nick shouldnt be doing shows like this , we didnt move home for this shit 15 years of BS ... an absolute disgrace .
The football i knew & loved began to die in 1993 when all seater stadiums became compulsory. The culture changed. Kids could no longer afford to go with their mates. Generations who grew up standing together with their mates from a young age ended overnight. Atmospheres in grounds started to die rapidly. It didn't happen by accident. It was by design. Clubs wanted to attract a middle-class fanbase who'd spend a monkey in the club shop. The traditional working class fan began to be priced out of going to football. Exactly what the clubs wanted. People in grounds with less historical attachment to the club. Less likely to complain or hold owners to account. The stadium move was the final nail in the coffin. Today, there's nothing the owner could do to make fans protest en masse. No togetherness. Fragmented strangers. Very few people care about people less fortunate. Imagine the concessions scandal at Upton Park. Would have been uproar. Nowadays, bar a few, nobody gives a shit. We're now like an NFL franchise. Full of newbies or tourists. Many old school fans can't relate to it anymore & are long gone. And it's never coming back. Just a memory for mates who occasionally meet up for a drink. I'm lucky I started going in the 70s experiencing a football culture that younger fans will never know. Popcorn machines at West Ham, I would have never believed it. People who go today are welcome to it. Not for me.
Spot on once it went all seater at Upton Park that was it for me. Used to go every home game and a few away days but went to the first home game all seater against Newcastle and the atmosphere was different even then. Won’t be venturing over there again will give my money to Southend from now on it’s football at the end of the day and it’s not costing me a arm and a leg. Sad times 😢
Totally agree, all seater stadiums are shite and it's the reason that losing Upton Park didn't happen in 2016 it happened years before that. Of course we didn't have popcorn there but we did have PEANUTS!!!!
I gotta say, I got choked up watching this… and I am not ashamed to say I shed a tear, Good old Mable, she used to sit near us in the old East Stand at UP 😢 the club I know and love is dying.. I am just glad there are like minded fans that feel the same as me, hopefully we can save this fantastic football club… what I’d give to have Slaven in charge now… he was also had over by GSB … I support West Ham because of my Nan, she grew up close to Green Street, I will always love West Ham, it’s just not the same anymore… Everyone knew each other and looked after each other.. now it feels like I am surrounded by strangers… it’s awful… I don’t know what to suggest, but as a fanbase, I hope we can do something… COYI , thanks Nick, reminds me of why I fell in love with West Ham 💔⚒️⚒️
My uncle was a season ticket holder in the old West Stand from 1950's to 2016. He was also a member of the East Ham Working Mans club, so his social life was based around West Ham. Both institutions were destroyed by the move to Stratford
That beginning segment of the video. Genuinely made me cry. 25 years of my life I’ve loved and cherished this team I always will ❤️. But we are awful and quite frankly it’s heartbreaking
Dad took me to my first game in 1970, v Everton, a 1-2 loss. Dad said get used to it son, you’ve got a lifetime of this ! On the firld was Bobby Moore, and Alsn Ball for Everton. I can still see it in me mind’s eye, sitting on a crush barrier in the South Bank. Sullivan can’t deprive me of that memory.
Good vlog mate.. as an Everton fan I feel your pain 🙄… Pickford has kept us up last 3 seasons and is probably our Bowen, we are shite for many reasons, but the ones at the top are useless, and it spreads to the pitch, good luck for rest of season mate
Nick i have been a West Ham for 45 years now. I like you have seen us in good times and bad times. I hear everything you say and agree with most of it. Sulli is not a football man, he has a short man syndrome scenario where he needs control, he is not concerned with what the loyal fans want. He see us as London, not West Ham and a franchise to make profit. But he is our director for now. The only way we are to change anything is making sulli's life unbearable. But we have turned into a prawn sandwich brigade where we accept what we get. We are in a position now where we need to get relegated, we need seismic change where our foundation is rocked and cracks repaired. We are in for a long depressing ride, but at some point change will come. To the West Ham fans out there who are depressed, anxious etc, i totally understand, but regardless this is my club, my heart will never leave West Ham regardless of what shit can runs it. Stay angry but not depressed, dont let your home life be affected by incompetence by others. I wish every fan a happy new year, stay strong and more importantly stay angry.
I’m in tears. The 15/16 season was so good. But i never took up the opportunity to get a seat at the shit hole we now occupy. I’ve been about 12 times since and not once have i left elated. Only a new ground at the West Ham bus depot could save us. Just a decent 45,,000 seat stadium
You have hit the nail right on the hovis brother. I was a nay sayer about leaving the Boleyn and Upton Park. I wish the Spuds, had got the Olympic stadium, and knocked the flucker flat. Business and money have killed my club. I understand the modern desire to win all the time, but that was not why I became a hammer. The feeling of all of us being from humble backgrounds, all pulling together to watch our local team do their best. And, when we won something it was special. Now its a spirit less affair, no feeling of belonging, no heart with most of the players, no home ground, aloof and condescending owners, and unattached 2nd rate managers. I love West Ham, but like my team the dream is fading and dying. Great video, reminded me of friends and times long gone. West Side, do your job!😢
Nick we need someone like you someone who speaks from the heart ❤. Don't be embarrassed you speak the truth , I am 59 nearly 60 I have followed West Ham United since 1975 FA Cup final. I know exactly what you mean and where your coming from my heart bleeds . I live in Northern Ireland have been to Upton Park on 3 occasions and my son has followed in my footsteps he has been to London Stadium twice but is losing faith . COYI ⚒🇬🇧 luv ya Nick keep the show going its all we have ...
Incredible coincidence William....Exactly the same age as you, I am Welsh and live in Swansea was lucky enough to go to Upton Park half a dozen times (first time Nov 79). Started following WHU, early 74 after seeing Brooking (still my fav player ever) on The Big Match on a Sunday on a pitch that was more mud than grass❤
Supported West Ham since I was a child 1975. In my time seen a lot of relegations but won 2 FA Cups finalists in ECWC in 76. Some incredible games Ipswich home 86 Everton home 91 amazing atmosphere. Incredible support we were as one. Nowadays never seen it so bad club is fragmented disjointed shambles. Board are an utter disgrace. I fear for the future feels like we’re on precipice looking into an abyss. How can we get the club back.
Like you say stay away from home games is the best idea but it doesn’t happen so it goes on .. there’s something missing in my West Ham soul it’s Upton Park I’ve never really felt the same since but i will always love the hammers..hammer 4 life ⚒🇬🇧⚒
Will they get any tourists in if we drop out of the premier league. And if you don’t play the big teams people will no come. Potter can’t be as bad as Loppy .
I see and feel your pain. For 63 of my 67 years you cut me I bleed claret and blue. Now I bleed red. It’s gone. I’m done. If Sullivan ever leaves I’ll try and come back?
Sullivan has ruined us like he ruined Birmingham.I have seldom loathed and hated anyone as much as him, along that piece of work Brady.Gold is as culpable as the two, they are and have sold our club down the river. We have lost something Nick, something we won’t get back or can we.I will always love my club but it does hurt like hell, seeing that Spiteful man laughing at us as he deliberately rips the heart out of our club.Great video Nick,I feel your pain I feel it .
Nick you are absolutely correct in the pressing, team selection and everything else. We need new owners, new manager, and player's willing to play for the shirt.
I haven’t always agreed with you, but that’s alright, but you have said everything in this video that describes how I feel. Iam also living in the past to. Sullivans needs to be forced out. Congratulations on a superb piece
Mate this is what breaks my heart as a kid I dreamed of nothing more than going to games and supports the team i love my kids struggle to watch a half of a game and he's done that he ruined who we are what we are
I’m 43 and was fortunate enough to have been a mascot over there when Julian led the team out and had the great fortunate and experience of playing there in an FA Youth Cup game against them when West Ham were the current holders - Joe Cole, Jermaine Defoe in the team that night. So many wonderful experiences of the place, for so many years having had a season ticket as young as 5 years old. I’ve lived abroad for the best of 15 years now so that season ticket is long gone, but whenever I’m back I go to a game and cannot agree more with regards to the look and feel of the place - or lack of the latter. My Dad, Uncles and cousins are still season ticket holders with superb seats on the halfway line - they try to talk it up, but the experience just simply isn’t the same for me. Football died a death with amongst other things VAR and West Ham died a death with the stadium move. It’s very sadly just not the same.
I feel your pain Nick. For 22 years I had some great times at Upton Park but I'll never set foot inside that stadium. It is so shit now, unbelievable that it's come to this
Loppy organised a Xmas team meal. Somerville didn’t go (and got fined). Crap times all round. Only getting worse. Love the channel, keep venting. It helps the rest of us.
I feel your pain and frustration Nick, and as a supporter through thick and thin for over 63 years, I'm as sick and tired of it all as well. We're all just pawns in a rich man's game, too fractured to be able to do anything apart from like the Burnley game, where it will only be the name of the club that will suffer if there's a repetition of that game. Our song even makes me sad now when I think of the lyrics... '...and then like my dreams they fade and die...'. But, onwards and upwards mate, it could always be worse, we could be Man U or the Spuds!!! COYIS ⚒⚒⚒
Glad I was able to go to many games at the Boleyn, lots of great and terrible memories there but it was home. For the first time in 30 years of going to games I left early last night, just couldn't take sitting in that stadium anymore. Half and half scarfs everywhere, second half everyone below me in my section just sitting there when bubbles starts up, a stadium where you could hear a pin drop, no banter like the old days (sign on song for instance). This place is a graveyard and we are not West Ham anymore, looked to my dad yesterday and said "I'm done after next season, I wont be renewing my ST unless something drastic happens" he has seen us play for the last 60 years seeing the good and the bad, we always talk about old players he's seen play like Moore and Brooking.. he turned to me and said "ill be doing the same". Could see in his eyes that he has lost all passion for West Ham after travelling and supporting us home and away, breaks your heart to see.
Nick, please don’t do this again because it makes me cry. I can force my true feelings below the surface and although I will always support and love West Ham my memories of the past make me remember what we have lost. I watched my first few seasons at the Boleyn and saw Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Bobby Moore, Harry Redknap, Billy Bonds etc . What a difference to today. It makes me want to cry. I ain’t got long left in my life and why are we worse now than 60+ years ago! 😤😤⚒⚒⚒
All shares need to be sold ! we have to many board members who wants every piece of the money pie and that want that final say . we need one new owner that holds minimum 75% alone ........
We moved to Southend in 1976 from east London. My dad drew a line from east London to somewhere not more than one hour from Upton park. Southend just fitted in.
I remember one wednesday night back i think in 1972 i might be a year out against liverpool in league cup, who were unbeaten in those days fantastic atmosphere beat liverpool 2-1with toshack and keegan, pop robson and geoff hurst scored fantastic night
That opening had this old man in tears. I live in the US now, but I still carry memories of Upton Park in my heart. The unity, the pride, the fight we had at that place is all gone. Our club has been torn apart by greedy owners who don't give a 💩 about the club or the fans If they were smart they'd be employing an ex West Ham player/coach/manager to at least give us a glimmer of hope. We need the heart back in this club.
The location isn't the problem..in fact it's closer to the clubs roots than Upton park. Its the fact it's an athletics stadium and unless it's pulled down and completely rebuilt from scratch it will never be a proper home .
I'm 55, first game was in 1974. WHU is embedded in my DNA. I try and explain what it was like to my boy, what it means to be west ham. He experienced Sevilla and the final, but I tell him it doesn't come close to so many games at the boleyn. What Sullivan has done to us is criminal. Destroyed the heart, soul and heritage of a truly historic football club. We MUST fight back, show our cockney spirit and turn this around.
Agree 100 percent as I'm sure a majority do. There must be something we can do to send a message to the club about the disconnect amongst the fanbase. I think a boycott of the stadium but we all turn up at a lower league game (hornchurch, Chelmsford etc) singing bubbles and build a movement. Get the attention of media by making it organised
1. Nick, you don't need to feel embarrassed with yourself. 2. I'm surprised the Baroness doesn't get more of a mention. Not a major shareholder but just as culpable. 3. I've supported WHUFC since 1968 as a six-year old. First game 1971. Regular to every home game from 1972 up until l bought my first house when money became tight. Still a regular attendee but not a ST holder. Have not been to a game this season and will not go to the LS again until that man and his sidekick are gone. COYI ⚒️ ⚒️ ⚒️
The horrible thing about that Man U win was looking at the sheer joy on everyone's faces and now knowing that those people had no idea what was to come. It was the highest of high's to now the lowest of the lows and all those wonderful fans were sold a very cruel and wicked lie.
We used to pay 15p at the boys entrance. That's how far I go back. This is the worst laziest team I've ever seen in our C&B. How dare they disrespect 60,000 fans by not bothering to show up.
Jesus Nick that intro got me, what a night that was at the ground. Feel sorry for all the fans that wont ever experience the real West Ham at that soulless stadium
First game of the 1966/67 season at home to Chelsea I was there with my Dad. Moore Hurst and Peters came on the pitch first and did a lap. Wonderful atmosphere and treasured memories. It didn’t matter that we lost 2-1 . Now at 73 as I watched the match on Sunday on the tv I felt empty and sad. However I will still be blowing bubbles. West Ham til I die⚒
I'm neither English nor a Londoner but as a fan for over fifty years that introduction brought a tear to my eye. Don't give up. We've been through shite like this before. New manager. Inspire the players. We'll be alright.
Nick - great show mate and thank you for articulating how I am feeling about the club I once loved. I’ve given up on the club and results. I still hope that there is a turn around in fortune, however I have no influence on any action that will make a difference other than not to spend a penny with the club. 😢
I've been going to west ham since 1962 and these last ten years have been awful, but with the occasional up and down ,but these last three years have been the worst in my memory, I have now stopped going for the last three years and sadly can't see myself ever going back anytime soon ,and being in my seventies now ,I fear I will be dead before this shit show improves especially while Sullivan and co are in charge.whu RIP 😢
An opposition fan will take a battering in the West Ham end one day and guess who'll be blamed for it? Yes......our fans! I bet that some of the stewards were LFC fans there last night too, like many were Arsenal fans a few weeks back 🤬
What a pile of shit from WHU, Sullivan is a narcissist, I've been a Hammers fan for over 45 years, my family are from Plaistow. Nick I share your opinion 100%, you're a proper fan. We've never been in such a sad state.
We've all sold out. The owners , noble the so called fans player, the fans for allowing this to happen. Westham are no more . The ground and direction the owners and new fans are taking us have ruined us.
Totally with u , what's been mentioned, barring the the noble bit, u have to remember noble is employed by sullivan so therefore he cannot spk out, it's like biting the hand that feeds u !!!
The club is dead, with no atmosphere in the soulless bowl. On top of that, the Russian commander interfering with team decisions, keeping Moyes for far too long, and fans, myself included, hoping for losses to force a change, it’s the same situation with Loppy now. There’s a real disconnect between the fans. We’re a mess, and I’m barely holding on
i cant express how much i miss the real West Ham, the new West Ham London, is not West Ham United. It feels like to me what MK Dons is to Wimbledon fans. It really is like sucking the soul out of someone, I would not wish this on any other supporter, moving for the trophies is really not worth it. Nothing can buy or replace history, heritage or community. Not only is the football team dead, the west ham traditional community is dead. That is what made west ham so special, the people and family experience. Without this, eventually this club will die. It was never about trophies being a West Ham fan, it was about what you represented (our history, heritage, family etc.) and fighting for it each week. Now thats gone, there is nothing to the club anymore, it is dead.
Great video i think your speaking for all of the fans over 40 who remember what it was really like to support our great club. They have dilluted the support to the point where when you do go you don't recognise your own club anymore. The only hope we have is if if and when we do get a new owner they are west ham and have gone through what we all have and they get it.
Warch till 3:21 Great compilation. We've lost our club's heritage for nothing. I'd prefer to be in the championship at the Boleyn. Idea for Nick if he reads this.
This just feels like an expression of grief. A realisation that we have lost the club that we used to know. The imposter that is the empty shell of a football club may as well be called London Stadium Rovers.
The same thing thay is happening at our west ham already happened to London! I was telling a polish friend of mine what it used to be like, walk down any hogh street and hear the sound of pianos and sing songs blairing out of every pub, knees up mother brown, my.old.mans a dustman etc, pearly kings and queens, the fishman selling cockles welks and jellied eels, someone playing the spoons in the corner of a smoke filled battle cruiser.... All gone now! Now most of the pubs are mosques, wont be long before locals are being woken up to the Adhan call to prayer at 6 am ! Lots has changed since i was a kid, unfortunately not for the better. Weve had the love of everything drained from us.... at least weve a bit of nostalgia to look back and remember what it used to be.
Don't always agree with your views Nick but I LOVE your passion for west ham. I'm an armchair fan these days, but when I think of when I used to attend Upton park watching Bonds, Brooking, Devonshire, etc... I realise how lucky I was to witness genuine legends at that great old ground💜🩵💜🩵
The board are punishing us for daring to want a better manager than Moyes. You were right to do that previous video as it would have been typical of us to win under adversity. Sadly that's no more, that West Ham isn't currently there. It can and will return one day, the club has never needed us more, we are all that's left. We are the bloodline it's what keeps me coming back. Not doing to say anything about David Gold but the focus needs to be on the family beneficiaries with their 25%. I see no knives in Sullivan's back. Kretinsky has no say with his share . It's Sullivan and The Golds out. Albert Tripp Smith gets a pass as his share is paultry.
We are dying. I saw my first gsme as a kid in 1994, followed them across england seeing some real shockers. I felt elation, anger, frustration, joy. But i've never felt this before. Just pure disconnection. I feel nothing now when west ham score. I feel nothing now when west ham conceed. I dont feel like this is my club anymore. I'm 99% there to losing my fight for the club i remember. What is next? I'm starting to consider the want to start a new club if the bottom tier, but something which gave us a real feeling of family again. This isnt is the west ham i fell in love with.

well said mate
Rip west ham was good whilst it lasted.sullivan this is on you
Agree 100 per cent mate...no matter who is the manager...it will ALWAYS be the same with Sullivan in charge..

You bastard , That made me cry , I Didn't want to believe this would happen to OUR club , But it has ?
Can't watch it's gone . Crying as a hairy arsed bricklayer from custom house . Aged 53 . Let's do a Wimbledon. I'll follow
😢
Totally agree let's start again ill follow didn't the daggers chairman offer there ground yrs ago.
💯 let’s do it
We had the fan base to do it.
Boleyn united got a nice ring to it . ?
Feel sorry for the new era of supporters they will never know --- Upton Park what a place !!!!
Spot on 👍⚒️
Felt true sadness watching that!! Where’s our West Ham gone ⚒️😥

Those were the days.wind rain or shine we turned up in our thousands and created the Westham family 😢its in our blood . Gone but never forgotten ⚒️🫧🫧🫧
West Ham died when Upton Park was torn down, mid week under the lights, it was a fortress.
Errr sorry. No it wasn't. I still have shivers about West Ham 3 Wimbledon 4 after being 3 up in next to no time.
My uncle was a season ticket holder in the old West Stand from 1950's to 2016. He was also a member of the East Ham Working Mans club, so his social life was based around West Ham. Both institutions were destroyed by the move to Stratford
Shame on you Sullivan, you have brought our beloved club to it's knees
50 years and never been so embrassed by that performance
The starting of your video had me in tears, been a hammer since 1976 am now 60 yrs old its so heartbreaking what's happening to our club!!!😪
Whatever you do Nick don't walk away
Heartfelt comments Nick with feelings we can all relate to.
Wow! That got me, blimey. Amazing times, loved going to Upton Park. West Ham (London) is just a product now, will never be the same again sadly. 😢
Like you say stay away from home games is the best idea but it doesn’t happen so it goes on .. there’s something missing in my West Ham soul it’s Upton Park I’ve never really felt the same since but i will always love the hammers..hammer 4 life ⚒🇬🇧⚒
this video is exactly how i feel. I thought i was the only one that passionate about it. It feels surreal what has happened to us…
I’m not setting foot in that stadium until Sullivan has departed , we need an owner who values the fans
Will they get any tourists in if we drop out of the premier league. And if you don’t play the big teams people will no come. Potter can’t be as bad as Loppy .
As a WH fan for over 60 years the only correct score I had in my super 6 was v Liverpool ⚒
@@Laurie-c3r Same here 😆 I've gone for 6-0 City this week
".. moving towards this cold, corporate franchise venture.." agreed, and our new crest epitomizes that.
I see and feel your pain. For 63 of my 67 years you cut me I bleed claret and blue. Now I bleed red. It’s gone. I’m done. If Sullivan ever leaves I’ll try and come back?
Made me cry watching that Nick. I'm truly devastated we left our home and moved to this nightmare 💔
God bless west ham, thanks for the memories, gone but not forgotten ⚒️
Wow the mascot with Julian Dicks!! What a brilliant memory for you. Don't get much better than that for a boy. Nice one!
I think of upton park more than ever, beautiful. Long shall I never forget
1st game with my dad v Norwich Upton Park 1st Jan 1974 😊 what a place proper people proper team proper ground
I feel your pain Nick. For 22 years I had some great times at Upton Park but I'll never set foot inside that stadium. It is so shit now, unbelievable that it's come to this
We have glorious memories. We hold them in our hearts. No one can take our memories away, not even Sullivan.
Thank You very much,
Sullivan & Brady.
Get out of our Club.
West Ham United ⚒️
COYIS ⚒⚒⚒
Breaks my heart seeing that intro, the club i fell in love with is dying 💔
Could see in his eyes that he has lost all passion for West Ham after travelling and supporting us home and away, breaks your heart to see.
thats bought tears to my eyes, been going since mid 70's and feel soul has gone. Have season ticket but feel this might be last season
Started crying when that Reid goal went in
Nick, please don’t do this again because it makes me cry. 😤😤⚒⚒⚒
Nailed it Nick 😢Sullivan has to go for the good of club it can be turned round but it will be a mount Everest to be climbed.
All shares need to be sold ! we have to many board members who wants every piece of the money pie and that want that final say . we need one new owner that holds minimum 75% alone ........
I cant watch that anymore Nick, breaks my heart everytime. 😢⚒
That hit the heart strings
We moved to Southend in 1976 from east London. My dad drew a line from east London to somewhere not more than one hour from Upton park. Southend just fitted in.
Left Stepney 2000, and yes wherever I moved to had to be in range of my 1st love ⚒
I remember one wednesday night back i think in 1972 i might be a year out against liverpool in league cup, who were unbeaten in those days fantastic atmosphere beat liverpool 2-1with toshack and keegan, pop robson and geoff hurst scored fantastic night
A great night and you felt part of that team on the pitch. All of them gave 100%.
That opening had this old man in tears. I live in the US now, but I still carry memories of Upton Park in my heart. The unity, the pride, the fight we had at that place is all gone. Our club has been torn apart by greedy owners who don't give a 💩 about the club or the fans
If they were smart they'd be employing an ex West Ham player/coach/manager to at least give us a glimmer of hope. We need the heart back in this club.
Miss those times 😢
We are now Stratford FC, Sullivan and Gold knew this, now we are working it out.
That intro made the hairs stand up on my neck, what have we done to not feel like this anymore
Your a true fan and no mistake.👍
You are spot on! This is not the club I have supported home and away since 1962⚒
This has killed me ⚒️⚒️⚒️😢 Thanks for sharing.
The pain😢😢😢
The horrible thing about that Man U win was looking at the sheer joy on everyone's faces and now knowing that those people had no idea what was to come. It was the highest of high's to now the lowest of the lows and all those wonderful fans were sold a very cruel and wicked lie.
We used to pay 15p at the boys entrance. That's how far I go back. This is the worst laziest team I've ever seen in our C&B. How dare they disrespect 60,000 fans by not bothering to show up.
Jesus Nick that intro got me, what a night that was at the ground. Feel sorry for all the fans that wont ever experience the real West Ham at that soulless stadium
that was really upsetting to watch , we were all united , real passion
That beginning sent shivers down my spine . Why did it have to happen to us
Haven’t even watched the last 5 or so games.. just can’t be bothered with it anymore. Apathy set in.
Trust me if you are unfortunate enough to have a season ticket like me west ham is dead in the water
We’re a mess, and I’m barely holding on
In bits. West Ham died the moment we left the Boleyn. Brilliant video. Mark Noble needs to step up and save us. Proper West Ham man.
Sullivan out!😊
I have had a season ticket for over twenty years, I have bought my last one. RIP West Ham
i cant express how much i miss the real West Ham, the new West Ham London, is not West Ham United.
Brilliant video
Great video i think your speaking for all of the fans over 40 who remember what it was really like to support our great club. They have dilluted the support to the point where when you do go you don't recognise your own club anymore. The only hope we have is if if and when we do get a new owner they are west ham and have gone through what we all have and they get it.
It's gone. Same name, didn't move as far away but we are MK dons ii
Warch till 3:21
Great compilation.
We've lost our club's heritage for nothing.
I'd prefer to be in the championship at the Boleyn.
Idea for Nick if he reads this.
I would rather be in the championship now than be whipping boys in the PL watching these over paid arseholes mate
This just feels like an expression of grief. A realisation that we have lost the club that we used to know. The imposter that is the empty shell of a football club may as well be called London Stadium Rovers.
Steinberg said we play like zombies
can you imagine the result if arsenal fans tried getting into the home ends at the boleyn,to be honest they wouldnt have dared
Sat in home end in early 2000's
Cheered when Ashley cole equalised nothing happened.
£160 that cost me in ticket, travel food etc. That's it I'm done.
I can accept losing,in the manor we are playing the last 3 years is getting worse by the second
Nick mate! You have to have faith, faith moves mountains and that melt will get his WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND....
