- Tom Wragg loves shredding the trails, and that means he needs a trail dog that can keep up. Thankfully Ruby, his Hungarian Vizsla, is a certified ripper.

Five seconds after Ruby gets out of the cart, I'm thinking "Ruby knows how to live", at ten seconds, I'm thinking "I love Ruby". I lost track of when I was thinking " If everyone could be a bit more like Ruby, we'd have a lot less problems in the world". Awesome to see this after coming back from riding our local trails.
I can't imagine how anyone would dislike this video.

321bytor Funny, I'd say the percentage of people and cats that I can tolerate is about equal. That's why I enjoy mountain biking, very few people and cats out on the trails.
+sultanabran1 that doesn't make them horrible, responsible car ownership means keeping them inside unless you can supervise them outside

Me and my Chihuahua, Shasta, go mountain biking just like that! She keeps up surprisingly well. Either right behind or right beside me.
Gotta say it looks like Ruby won the smash-the-rock-garden-competition.

This is great! I just got a Vizsla for Christmas and was wondering how the pooch would do on single track. Your video looks very promising. Can't wait for spring! Any tips on training???
Assuming your new friend is a puppy (congratulations, by the way!) you'll probably need to wait until Spring next year before doing too much riding with them. Consult with a vet before doing anything strenuous.
You'll need to wait until next year for much running. Their joints aren't fully formed until about 1 yr old. I'd suggest focusing on obedience until then.

Is the dog running at full speed all the time? And for how long?
vizslas have incredible endurance. they're one of the fastest dogs in the world. some say third fastest behind the greyhound and the saluki. but whereas greyhounds have the speed, vizslas have the speed and the endurance. they can keep a very fast pace for a long time.

lycra has NO PLACE in mountain biking!
I think this guy has roadie roots, I ride in lycra because my main biking time is spent on the road.

Clearly Paulo you have never seen this breed in action. Mine could easily run upwards of 25 miles as long as she has water and isn't overheated
