Prayer has a cumulative effect. Same way, if you're not praying daily, it also has a gradual deteriorating effect.
You must warm your soul and heart everyday.
If you're not praying, you will faint, you will fall into temptation.
Create a discipline that allows you pray always whether or not you're in trouble.
Don't break your prayer or study streak.
Prayer strengthens your faith Jude 17, 20 it renews your spiritual energy.
Prayer is a strategy for preserving Faith.
1 Pet 5:8 Steadfastness in the faith is what the devil is after.
Know that the enemy is always looking for advantage, you will pray even when you don't feet like to ensure he doesn't get advantage of you.

Day 56✔️. The presence or absence of a prayer life has a cumulative effect. Jesus tells us that if we don’t pray we will faint and fall into temptation. Prayer strengthens your faith and convictions about what you already know that God can do. If you understand that not praying for one day has big consequences and can put you in trouble, you will never break your prayer and study streak. Thank you Pastey. I stopped praying consistently, prayers that warmed my heart in 2022/23. I don't know how to get back to that level. I miss it so much.
I didn't know doctrine then, as much as I know now but I can say for sure, that obedience was definitely more fluid than it is now.

I understand you Sister. I had a long period like this too. I was just carrying it with my head in that sense, if you get my expression. But what I did was do the same thing I was finding hard to do - I poured my heart to God.
Since I came across that phrase (not sure if it’s a verse) of how God is the God that knows our hearts and discerns our intentions, coming to Him in sincerity has been the game-changer. I prayed and told God I missed those times. That I didn’t want to refer to the times when I was closest to Him in past tense.
I came humbly (because knowledge can have us feeling we’re okay, when we’re not), and I found that the restoring of those warming prayer years and times actually came by having heartfelt and sincere conversations with God.
I pray that you get back to that level of warmth and communion with God, Sister. And I also appreciate your honesty. It took a while for me to admit it.

I understand that Prayer has a cumulative effect. Prayer is a strategy for preserving faith. There is something about prayer that keeps me in the love of God and strengthens my convictions about what God can do.
I shouldn't have to resist the devil by warfare when I can resist him by being steadfast in the faith. That warfare is unnecessary.
The awareness that when I don't pray, there will be consequences and that the enemy is always looking for advantage should make me always pray.
