Arriving at Southport Caravan and Motorhome Club site, Southport, UK. July 2024

Solo with Rolo - on our way back from Kendal Caravan and Motorhome Club site, we called for a few nights at Southport Caravan and Motorhome Club site. The contrast between the sites was vast. Southport site is quite compact and busy. We only stayed from 19th to 22nd July.
I found Southport a bit... disappointing if I am honest. The staff were great and friendly but the beach was the main disappointment. I am not sure we would go again. Perhaps for an overnight stop over on route to somewhere else but, it was just not my cup of tea. Everyone is different i suppose and others might like it.
