Up the river or down the river, next to the tent or by the pool, in the park or under the stars - no matter where you are, Klymit’s Timberline Camp Chair lets you sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights!
This chair is strong, stable, and comfortable. Its aluminium frame keeps it lightweight, and the collapsible design ensures it is compact for easy travel and storage. The low seat has been engineered to comfortably cradle and support your body and has a 28cm clearance from the ground at its deepest point. The tubular frame insert pockets are reinforced to add extra durability to the 600D oxford fabric, plus all stress points feature bar tack stitching to withstand even the toughest pressure. The two inserts at the seat incorporate an integrated webbed backing with vinyl pocket housing so you can have confidence that it's not going to tear through when you plop down to relax. What’s more, the hubs allow for a perfect amount of flex so that the chair accommodates the movement of your body while the rounded feet stay in place!
Add in the vented mesh panels for breathability and a storage bag that features more bar-tacked webbing and you know you’re onto a winner with the Timberline Camp Chair from Klymit!

A tip for these chairs, since they are so lightweight, they can easily be blown away by the wind/breeze, so attaching a bungee cord (on the same cross bar where the velcro is attached) and pegging it down to the ground is recommended.
@Hammer Rocks, thats an excellent suggestion, would never have thought that myself...thanks!

Great demonstration - thanks!
No worries @Jennifer Lupine, glad to be helpful!

Many thanks. My wife and I were a bit stumped and your assembly was right on.
I'm glad it was useful. ~ Ben
Well done Lauren, another good review. I look forward to Snowys gear reviews as yourself and Ben do well. Although Kevin convinced me to outlay on 2 x twinpack 2 watt GME handhelds. Grim times are ahead and I'd rather be looking at it than looking for it. Read of that what you will. Cheers from North Queensland 👍
Cheers @Burtrat, that's awesome of you to say. Kevin is great at that, thats for sure, and you are right that future times feel a bit ominous.

My immediate thought was the quality of the storage bag I could put things from my hiking bag into the storage bag at camp site. Or put my put my boots in the bag with an absorbent towel. This chair is great for transitioning from hiking to setting camp for a night. The chair fabric can endure a frosty night left outside of the tent.
I like where your mind is at, Mark, making more than one use out of things. ~ Ben
hello thank you for the review, i have one question, i am comparing this chair to the helinox sunset chair and i find that these kind of chairs can sink when used over mud or snow. the helinox chair have a ground sheet that alleviates this issue. i see that the sunset chair and the klymit chair might be similar in dimensions, do you think that i could use the helinox groundsheet with this chair?
Thank you in advance
Good question, but not one I'm going to be able to answer sorry as we can no longer carry these chairs, so I can't try this out for you.
They do look almost identical to the Helinox chairs though, so there is a chance that a Helinox ground sheet could work on this Klymit chair.
Sorry I couldn't be of much help.
~ Ben
thank you anyway! :) @@SnowysOutdoors
hey, no stock on the website ?
No, we can't get any more of these at the moment sorry, coolman55, I'm not sure what is happening with them moving forward either. ~ Ben
why don't you carry it anymore?
Not sure sorry, Susan, might be a supply issue I think. ~ Ben
Electric shock corded??? Dang that must be enlightening! 😆
Helps make for a lightning fast setup. ~ Ben
