The reason why the sides (L & R) are changed is because once you turn 180 degrees your left is the right door and your right is the left door. Like when you are in front of another person face to face and his/her left is your right and vice versa.
The left and right isn’t inverted, the camera is showing the left and right from the perspective of you looking at the monitor, so when you look at the doors you are turning around, so the doors appear inverted just as they would in real life.
