Tbf these are based on the Wiggles puppets specifically, which were a common childhood "this creeped me out" experience. They would sing oddly catchy remixes of Wiggles songs in a high pitched voice. Surprisingly, this game doesn't really exaggerate how freaky those things looked, other than adding the glowing eyes. It doesn't have to. They really did look that fucked up. I think Jeff's puppet was preserved in a museum for a while, until it started falling apart. One of the wiggles tweeted that another puppet (cant remember which one) "disintegrated," whatever the hell that means. I'm not sure about the other two wiggles & captain feathersword. Since they were made of latex, they couldn't really last long, so maybe those other three rotted away in the same warehouse as Jeff's puppet. It's a little sad to think about.
Such an excellent gameplay loop. It does everything in FNAF 2 so much better. Instead of just a jpeg of toy bonnie sliding across your screen, its probing you so uncomfortably close and you're forced to see the inhuman details. Instead of just charging a music box, you have to pay attention to your table-mate's eyes. This once again adds gross discomfort. Instead of the vents just being doors on your sides, you control which path you'd like to block.
incase no one relised this. this game is based on a real life Childrens entertainment group/ band from australia i believe the show should also air in north amarica as well. i remember from when i was little. this i also the original cast from the early 2000s late 90s ish. oh yes the group and show is also called the wiggles.

The character models and enviroments may not have the highest detail, but. The animations, sound design, ambience, and music are all amazing.
I knew this game reimagined my childhood fear of puppets. I've grown out of being afraid of any and every puppet imaginable, but these puppets made after my childhood icons becoming this disturbing shells of their former selves makes me genuinely terrified

I think you became Sam at the end. Sam temporarily replaced Greg as the Yellow Wiggle in 2006. The fact that Greg was the one who masked you and the mask looking similar to Sam, makes me think the night guard became him.

After all these years of watching FNAF videos, I've mostly become desensitized to jump scares, but why did I jump on Night 1 when one of the Wiggles showed up right in the doorway? I feel it's probably because you can actually see them moving towards you, which is something I like about the other fan games, and Help Wanted. Seeing something that shouldn't be moving in real time really adds to that fear factor. Especially if you turn back, and they're right in your face. It really does hit perfectly on that uncanny valley, but dang. That one actually got me. 😅
