I love the darker Brazilian Emeralds the best. Although I love the bluish green hues of the Zambian Emeralds the best.

I have a Brazilian emerald that is quite unique. The type of emerald it produced could only be found in one mine, which has closed. When the emerald was formed, temperatures got high enough that the emerald fused with the calcite surrounding it. This meant you could cut right through the matrix and get one solid cross section of it without the matrix falling apart. A small number of these were cut, showing the green hexagonal structure of the emerald crystals combined with the white and jet black from the host rock. These cut stones are called Picasso Emeralds.

Your channel has definitely turned me into emerald, I’ve collected a few pieces. I do have a question if you or anyone can help.
I bought a custom made rough raw gemstone bracelet of rubies sapphires and emeralds. The bezel around the sapphires and rubies are fully wrapped around. The emerald cabochons are left with a slightly open set bezel setting, being an ocd person to me; it looks broken/unfinished. It appears as if the creator was afraid to solder the bezel close.
Would it be possible to fix this or would I risk damaging the stones?
They are rough commercial lighter green

I used to work at a jewelry store and they said, chemically, Colombian emeralds are superior and by far, the best due to the geography in that country, where mountains are younger than Brazilian or any other emerald mines country, including iron molecules that make them singular... what they call "fuego verde" or "green fire".

Just a quick observation. First of all, all the emeralds you’ve showcased here are included. The Colombian ones have gas and fractions in them. Second, you guys are presenting here almost faint green beryl with minor oil treatment which is what has been promoted as commercial emeralds lately and is almost too rain to be emeralds.

No lol the best colombian emerald is medium dark in color much darker then the colombian she was showing ,and the brazilian she was showing was not even commercial grade they were not even cab grade stones and never should have been faceted, she was being very bias showing the worst possible from brazil and something nice from colombia, marketing bullshit, they can both be light or dark in color

I don't want to offend, but you chose the worst sample of Brazilian emerald! Colombian emeralds are excellent, but there are better samples of Brazilian emeralds and also in other countries. Colombian emeralds have a history of a lot of spilled blood. Perhaps worse or equal than Congo diamonds.

Colombia produce great quality Emerald but the price is Highs and control by the Cartel Emerald jewels in Bogota , in fact , you can find better deals in the usa all ready cut and Mounted on 14 caret gold with 2 carets of Diamonds to give it life .

Columbian emeralds resemble Afghanistan emerals in color. And somewhat resemblance with pakistani chitrali emeralds. Swat Pakistan emeralds are more superior to Columbian. Swat and chitral are mine areas of pakistan.
