For people complaining about the machine gun rocket pods making it look like a toy. "Breaking News" It is a toy. It's good to lighten up sometimes and simply have fun. Mine is just a wall hangar 95% of the time in my display fleet, but when it's out at the FC field the public spectators are drawn to it like a magnet. Kids go crazy for it and instantly want to learn all about the RC hobby and flying Helis. That's a good thing.
Please consider making a 500 sized RAW!!! I want to be able to swap out batteries without taking off a canopy so bad! 700 sized helis are too expensive for me.
I really like the idea. SAB is taking the Robodrone/Antartica backstory a step further. But, the weapon pods seem a bit plasticky and toy-like. I would really like if they were more detailed and fully functional in the production version, that is: you could shoot some sort of firework out of them using a spare radio channel. That would be awesome!

No. It's a scale model of a helicopter gunship, manufactured by MCMURDO INDUSTRIES, that exists in the Antartica universe. Go check the backstory at SAB website. 😁
That's great if you were allowed to fly model aircraft. Here in Communist Canada, you will be sent off to prison if you fly a toy plane as per transport Canada. What a wonderful world we live in!
is the rc heli market so dead, that you need to enter the rc toy market as well? dunno, plastic rocket pods look better on the 100-150 size, much more accessible for children too.
You guys could have simply showed us someone takes it off from the trunk of his/her car, drops it on the airfield and then starts performing some 3D moves. It could have been a way better and way more beautiful video that way...

I think they should've painted it a military color like olive drab, or light bluish grey like the Sea Cobras.

What I wanna know is why does 800 seem to still be about the biggest heli size out there for 3D? Why haven't we pushed the envelope to 900 and 1000?
