That's a huge, tall microwave. Most people don't have microwaves that large, and with one that size it would make more sense to just microwave the food in a bigger bowl.
I’m just glad our microwave is big enough for 2 bowls, because there’s no way I’m putting anything in it without a cover. I’m not cleaning up soup splatter. 😂
My grandmas old house in the Lake Arrowhead mountains had the same thing. Little wood cabin from the 70s, all wood counters, gas stove and a built in, removable cutting board above the silverware drawer 😊 this gave me a pleasant bit of nostalgia 🤙🏻☮️

My mom has been flattening ground beef before freezing since I was a little kid in the early '80s. Great hack Link! It also has the benefit of defrosting faster and if you have to resort to the defrosting it in the microwave it defrosts more evenly

Houses in my neighborhood were all built in the 80s and they all have a built in cutting board (not fancy lol) but that thing is a pain to clean. I have a few large wooden cutting boards and I could totally see using one on a drawer FOR SPACE, I would not recommend cutting on that thing, seems like a good way to break a drawer and end up with cutlery all over the floor.

I think the sprinkler one is for kids. Like set up the sprinkler spraying upwards and the kids can run and jump through it in the summer, it doesn't need to move.

I’ve got sprinklers however I water my garden once a day… it’s very therapeutic tbh… just talk to myself and contemplate life and think about my day and tomorrow. It’s so relaxing and peaceful
