Sometimes their servers take longer to update and because of it the overlay is slow to respond :( I’m in talks with them to see what I can do about this, however at the moment it’s out of my control. I am however looking for alternative ways to do this better :)

If you are following this tutorial and want to use the TH-cam Music Desktop app for Windows. Go to the settings and there is an option for Last FM (Scrobbler) under Integrations.

You can mute the song for you without installing anything, simply create another audio source on streamlabs linked to a peripheral you're not using (I use my screen) and then using the windows settings, set spotify's music on that peripheral.

Also, I was stuck at what I should do at 4:30 but I slowed it down to 0.25 to see what you we're doing to get onto the browser. But you right click the scrobbler icon and click options bassicaly. Hope this helped if you we're stuck there aswell :D
Not sure if anyone figured it out, but click puzzle piece then the 3 dots, then options and the account screen should pop up. This is a great video, but he needs to slow down. I hope this helps whoever needs it.

It's broken. On twitch, the pop up is full black as if it was censored, and i have to turn on the setting "Stay Open all the time" to see the pop up otherwise it doesn't appears if i play/pause the song or even when the song changes.
Having some issues with mine updating. Even when I force an update it's not showing the correct song thats playing. (Up until now its working fine tho)
the service doesn't matter. The music you play with it should be copyright free. For example playing eminem on spotify is forbidden, but playing StreamBeats on spotify is perfectly fine :)

Is it possible to have the background images deleted? So you can only see the song title? I'm using TH-cam for music and it doesn't change the album icon as what Spotify does. So I have this default banner from Pixel chat which I don't like, because it doesn't go with my theme for my stream. Also the size of the text is too small displayed for into my stream where I want to put the text.
Nvm I've made it only a black color background, because there is no possibility to remove the background. Changed the font and width and height into Streamlabs. The only thing that I'm missing is when the title of a song doesn't fit into it. It would be usefull if the title then scrolls like to the right so it will display the entired title.
Not sure why but every time I implement this on obs, it doesn't show the song. I have the always on display switch turned on, but it still doesn't appear. Am I doing something wrong, is there some setting I'm not seeing? Can anyone help
you cannot get in trouble with copyright music with Twitch, before I had a radio that was streaming 24/7 copyrighted music for 1 month, never got any problem
The overlay is very delayed and sometimes doesn't even pop up. It comes up every now and again but theres a huge delay between the songs. By the looks, I'm not the only one with this problem!
The sad thing with most of these overllay services is that they stop working properly once a lot of people use it due to API reasons as far as I can understand.

It seems to be showing what video was last playing more than it shows the current.
Not much point in using Last fm if the listed song is 1-2 songs behind.
