- Twenty One Pilot are an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio. Initially a band, the group was formed in 2009 by lead vocalist Tyler Joseph along with Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, who both left in 2011. Since their departure, the line-up has consisted of Joseph and drummer Josh Dun.
Today we take a deep dive into the new single Overcompensate and see what there is to hear...and see
“I’ll Morph to someone else” makes so much sense now
IKR I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! that track has generally always stumped me because the morphing idea never fully clicked in the lore to me until the I Am Clancy vid and the music Vid
I never thought of that lol
With TØP being an extremely talented live band, makes me appreciate SAI more than most would. The Good Day/No Chances opening for the icy tour intro, shy away mashed up with MCR’s ‘I’m not okay’, Mulberry Street mashed up with ‘Benny and The Jets, and even bounce man are all bangers to me due to how they perform them live.
That being said…probably one of their best songs ever imo.
I can see that argument, i watched the live set in theaters during the limited time event and did enjoy the experience but as a studio project it lacked for me personally.

Unpopular opinion, but the SAI songs slap insanely hard. I think you can compare them to Vessel, except for Bounce Man, I think every song on SAI is goated
to give the album a liiiiitle more credit i do LOVE ‘Redecorate’ and ‘Choker’. i think these are the only two i’ll come back to every now and then personally but i’m glad you enjoyed it ❤️❤️
Scaled And Icys production and creativity doesn’t really touch anywhere near Vessel at all imo Take any random song from SAI besides No Chances & Redecorate, and any random Vessel song and the vessel song will be better

Tyler being out of his element for SAI was the point of the album. It was Dema Propaganda. They were being controlled.
When i saw that in the I Am Clancy Vid it kinda felt cool to me.
That's what I've been saying since the release of the album, it immediately gave me like a "we're happy, but really we're not" vibe when I first heard it.
