- Sub 3 should be possible if you manage to stop limp and get the perfect stagger loop going but fuck me if I want to grind this shitty fight for a better time (also Deadeye Garuga hammer is probably better for this quest because it has white sharpness for days, making it more consistent).
Did this run mainly because they announced this boy for Iceborne the other day and it gave me an excuse to show off Barioth in an older game. That being said, I'm looking forward to Iceborne Barioth because the bar is pretty low and the Narga and Tigrex fights in the beta have shown a lot of promise so it can only get better than this.

@@CubicleComa369 I guess it technically works by saying you're so cold yourself that the fucking tundra of an environment you got around you is hot to you, even tho everything else will freeze to death.
Perhaps, anyway? That's how I took it. Like cooling down copper piping near melting point using a propane torch. If you're the pipe, even tho that torch is hot as fuck (relative to us), it will feel cool since you're already at a much higher temperature as a whole.

Great run Canta, Valor hammer is so fun to play. Really love how you play aggressively, specially abusing the wide window to punish Barioth after he missed his shoulder bash.
I love the high stun value of Valor hammer. I was battling a G3 gore magala and I wasn’t hitting the head much and then out of nowhere, the thing got stunned.

Hmm I actually think Barrioth is the best of the three. He has attacks other than just "charge," or "jump at you," and I like how he can fly during combat. Plus his design is cool as hell

1:11. I hate that "instant pounce" move so much. I really hope they remove that bullshit from Iceborne. People will bitch about Barioth being casualized, but if a monster's difficulty mainly comes from attacks that have zero start-up/telegraphing, then maybe you need to reconsider the design of your monster's moveset. There are many ways to make an enemy difficult that don't involve instant start-up attacks.
There’s so many times I’ve seen instant start up attacks and wondered if I was doing something wrong, when really it’s just bollocks. It’s quick, cheap damage and totally unfair.
It's actually not quite instant, he always does that attack after a head stagger, making it very easy to predict

How does Narga fares against other G rank iterations, in your own opinion?
That valor hammer looks so nimble. Is it really that agile or is it just the pure skill making it look that way
It's super agile and mobile in Valor mode since most of your damage comes from charge moves. Unfortunately you lose the golfswing and you're kinda helpless if you aren't in Valor mode.

Does someone know if its like the old g Rank where the Monsters have always the Same health Even if you Play Solo ?
Because i‘ve Heard that they introduced a two player Scaling in the dlc so my guess was that its like in world where if you Play Solo that the Monster has lower health.

quick question, how can i find the hayabusa feather helmet? Is it a special quest?
Wax Inel you get it after completing the 6 star village quest “Advanced: Out of the Fry Pan” the quest is against a high rank deviljho followed by a high rank nargacuga and a high rank tigrex at the same time so it can be kind of hard. I forget exactly how you unlock it but i believe you have to complete all if the non prowler village quests which does take a while but its not too bad. Hope this helps!

God, using gs in this fight is cancer, i missed so much hit and only able to abuse traps and regular attack, everytime i tried to charge he fucking jump away.

I've a question: why is gore magala hammer so good?
Good raw, gets purple sharpness, has 2 slots and has high affinity, making it easy to reach 100% crit for consistent stagger exploits. That being said though, I think the deviant Garuga hammer is better for this quest but I haven't had that hammer yet when I made this video.

Hey, Hayabusa feather. Hab bei nem Armormaker immer wieder diesen Helm gesehen. Man opfert ne menge defens für ich glaube +15 Expert, oder so etwas. Richtig gut, tut trotzdem etwas weh, wenn man mehr okisch spielt. Ich denke ich gehe später mit Expert/Weakness Exploid, Earplugs und Handicraft +1. Der letzte Skill ist nicht mehr so gut wie früher, ist aber unentbehrlich wenn man mit Shaggarus DBs spielen will. Scheinst generell ne ähnliche Idee für das Mixset gehabt zu haben.
Möcht ein paar deviants jagen, hast lust?

How is the difference from World to "Old Style". I played too much World and now I'm a freaking noob at Old Style MH games.
The transition should be smooth. Playing MHGU should be simple to do, though it's one of the harder games in the series.

Old World to New is really easy. But going back is hard asf. Especially when you don't have a second analog stick for the screen.

Valor hammer is great
It's actually really good, specially against certain monsters.
However, Guild is used more often in speedruns and time attacks due to it having sightly higher DPS.

I played pretty much every mh main title (100% casual) and I picked up guild style since its basically the same as the other games I ended up finishing g-rank without trying out a single style at all, (I'm a hammer main in every game but I play a bit of horn here and there) what I'm basically saying is I have 0 clue what is happening in this video never seen a hammer move like that lol.
You should try the styles out ,they make the game a lot more fun because you can mix things up

Tri Barioth really was a better carnation than the 3U one. It's triple pounce was slightly different than Narga's, and the hipcheck it spams really goes against the design.

It's a bit of a pity that they didn't bring Barioths own battle theme into Generations Ultimate. Well, maybe he's gonna have it in World, let's just hope they don't make another awful interpretation of an older generation song.
