These psychological intricacies shape our perceptions, urging self-awareness and empathy in navigating the complex tapestry of the human mind.

2 days ago I basically perfectly guessed my good friend's Martyr(or Hero I guess) complex by going through my thoughts in similar situations. And through out all day she was like "HOW DO YOU KNOW ME THAT MUTCH". Turns out we both have the same thing going on, just without the "complaining" part. It was actually quite a nice and wholesome moment. I liked it. Helping people is cool
Just curious, but the example you gave of persecution complex sounds off to me - you said the paranoia-like feeling (my words, not yours) is usually irrational and exaggerated but when women are afraid a person walking behind them at night might harm them there is a precedent for that. Wouldn't a better example be when students believe their bad grades are a result of the teachers' personal feelings about them?
I think it’s interesting. However I could argue that for the number of women that end up getting harmed in that situation compared to the number of kids that actually get worse grades because they’re teachers don’t like them are not disproportional. For example my sister doesn’t walk alone at night because there’s the thought something may go wrong and a student doesn’t disrespect their teacher because it could have a negative impact on their grade. I think what is getting misconstrued is that you are taking these complexes as inherently negative when a persecution complex ends up saving women(or student) from getting in a bad situation is using it for good👍🏻
I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn’t called being catious while walking at night a complex, just part of the female upbringing/experience in a way lol. I don’t really understand though, does a person just have one complex that they’ve had their whole life or do people adopt different complexes based on changes in their life and views? Because I feel like I’ve had traits from every single complex at some point in my life just based on how I’m feeling at that time and in that certain situation, it’s not a set list of things I do in every day life but that could be because I don’t have any complex?? Or does everyone have one?
Does it count as a persecution complex if you're always on edge that someone else is going to have a persecution complex with you? Like in my head I'm already apprehensive that they're going to accuse me of something based off of innocuous details or reaching with circumstantial evidence. I feel like having that concern could be it's own persecution complex in a way, though I never act on it or say anything. If there's another term for this, what is it?

Classic examples would be John Kramer from the Saw movies or the Spanish Inquisition which John Lamb Lash brought up when he coined the term in his book “Not in His Image.” He also included that in order for the one to have the complex they need to believe in a male god which personally I don’t agree with and I believe he was projecting his own dislike for Abrahamic religions.
Bluds, I done gathered the entire collection!
From my understanding you can have different complexes throughout your life, things change, people change, some more than others just depends
starting to realize I might have an inferiority complex lol
thank you so much for the inferiority complex. i dont know why, but thank you
Does it count as a persecution complex if you're always on edge that someone else is going to have a persecution complex with you? Like in my head I'm already apprehensive that they're going to accuse me of something based off of innocuous details or reaching with circumstantial evidence. I feel like having that concern could be it's own persecution complex in a way, though I never act on it or say anything. If there's another term for this, what is it?
what do you call it if you have all of them?
You’re complex🙌
This video has proved i am a complexed being.
Damn, why are all of these relatable AF 😭😭😭
Most of these were opposites?
@@Didyouknowthatiexist you've clearly never been bipolar with dissociative traits 💀
😂that’s funny I used to have an inferiority and a guilt complex. What a terrible combo.
Is Savior Complex and Martyr Complex the same?
Yes 🙌
They say I have superiority complex,
I find it quite simple
Oh boy do a certain group of people click my mind for the first complex
You forgot the best kind of complex!
The Military Industrial Complex 😎
source?
Man, I might have half of these I’m not gonna lie
The parental complex is kinda cool to think about, for me i have the good traits of my mother but the bad traits of my mother(I am a boy).
We all gangsta until we see wh*re complex
I don’t know what you’re talking about I find these quite simple
Imagine playing Resident Evil 7 kind of fast and then getting a god complex from it
so my mom has a martyr complex. good to know.
introduction to persecution complex seemed like it was supposed to be somewhere else
i act through martyr complex to manipulate others fr. i never see it as a bad thing tho, its like if someone i love wants to do something stupid , i do it first , suffer the consequences, to show them they are an idiot
That doesn't sound like a martyr complex
The parental complex, unable to see a sexual being with value because you subconsciously associate them with your parents.
Martyr complex: I literally do that all the time
I didn’t realize until now but I think I might have a parental complex like both me and my mom have the same favorite food, color and movies but we’re afraid of spiders, insects, and the dark
