Normally they put brown sugar in it bit of 5 spice too finished with sesame seeds

Hey Chris & fam , you used to see crispy seaweed in most Chinese takeaways sweetened with brown sugar. You don't see it as often ! The gig must be up , I do prefer boc choi tho as a green ingredient. Lol A❤😊
Whenever I’ve had crispy seaweed at a Chinese it was always mixed with brown sugar 😆
Actually Chris the Asians use msg as a topping like salt as well as cooking it in because it’s so versatile so you most definitely could of and probably should have used it maybe instead of salt

i love chinese been years since i have had it for the simple reason its usually loaded with seeds and i cannt have seeds at all but i do miss it loved sesame prawn toast as well but cant have that anymore either i used to have that and duck fried rice with a pot of curry regular as anything but now i dont dare risk it because no idea if their curry has seeds in it and as good as the supermarket chinese curry is its not the same im sure my body hates me so annoying i have never has seaweed though dont think i have ever seen it on the menu we used to get either honestly
use bacon ham pork as fruit or vegetables plant fertilizer
Spring greens ?? Is it spring cabbage? I cant get it here but kale is similar in taste when cooked.
Chris, shark fin soup, turtle soup, smokey bacon flavoured crisps. The bloody list of untrue food items is 'kin never ending. Like millions of people I thought it was seaweed. Need brown sugar chris thats all n bit salt n msg ...seaweed one my fav things from chinese but the cost for a tiny tray off it should cost a quid tops but its about £7 for a few leaves 😂

In a recent video over at Sorted Food, one of their boys, Jamie, seemed genuinely angry that "Crispy Seaweed" isn't actually Seaweed - always wondered how many people know a lot of things we're sold aren't true (like how what you get down most Chippy's isn't actually vinegar - or how most things claimed about meat & dairy are bollocks.
