Cleaning, Rearranging & Packing Away Summer Decor To Get Ready For Fall

- In this video I am cleaning, rearranging and packing away everything in our Dining Room and Kitchen. Everything gets a deep cleaning, removing all of our collections off of the shelves and placing everything I won't be using away. I will be rearranging our shelves, like I do each season to move our collections around so we can enjoy them all year. I am always sad to see the season go and all of my hard work with it, however I am looking forward to the next season. This video shows one day in the life, it does take about a week to get the house ready for the next season. We have aquired large collections of various china and glass items that we love and want to see throughout the year. In our upcoming Fall video we will be arranging and decorating our shelves in the Dining Room to bring some Fall colors in. Bonjour my friend. I loved this video it shows how much work it takes to get ready for a new coming season. Jeff I don’t know how you did the take down all in one day! You’re so organized. You have so many breakables and still you get done in record time. I now see why taking over the pantry to make a china storage area was genius! I get tired and overwhelmed and then start dropping and breaking stuff when I’m taking down things for a seasonal change! Organization is the key to a sane & happy life! Fall? Not quite sure. We are still doing summer projects. We are painting our porch. It has wooden posts & decorative spindles, and ea. pc. is painted red/white & blue A labor of love. It mist be done every 3 yrs. And I am nursing a root tear of the meniscus and stress fracture of the knee, but, good news my ortho says no TKR b/c my knee is not bone on bone. I'm a election worker and we have a election in Aug. and the big one in Nov. So I'll decorate for fall between those events. And yes, I am still painting. Ouch!
