Another way to think of rotations is not "when do I rotate" it's more or a "why would I rotate." For example, I'd you are the ADC you normally don't want to rotate if you have a wave, harpies, plus your buff ready for you to take, but if their is no current farm, you might be able to help your mid laner get a kill. Just like instinct here said it's a "what do I gain vs what do I lose"
I’m not a pro solo laner but I usually figure it’s time to rotate out of solo once one of the solo lane towers goes down. If it’s the enemies it probably means you’re up on them so you can lose waves to help other lanes and if your tower goes down then it means that the enemy is up on you and if you keep fighting him you’re going to end up feeding. It’s worked well for me in my games but if anyone has better advice or critiques I’m open to hearing them
A rotations guide (as in, a more in-depth version of what you've done here for rotations - especially for people who are supports and struggle to ensure they get enough farm) is never a bad idea. Yeah, rotations and ganks are more of the advanced Smite tutorial side of things, but there's a real need for them - especially as most new players learn the basics (like wards etc.) but really struggle to learn what a good/bad gank or rotation is, or which objectives they should be prioritising. Just some kind of guide to help people think critically about their decision-making could, I think, be super useful.
I appreciate you taking the time to do this. The highlighted areas helps a lot. I’ve been playing Joust for a long time, but stayed away from conquest because I hate being the reason we lose. Thanks again!
i think that everyone would agree, that there is also an END GAME phase, that is very different from late game. End game - the team , that win teamfight will automatically win, and this is the main difference because in a late-game you probably would have something that stops you from that - maybe you will manage to kill one phoenix, or take FG, but still, the enemy team will respawn sone and your team dps would be not enough to finish game. In end game you can go from your fountain to enemy one after decide opposite team, shred through phoenix and destroy titan in a second. In end game everyone are starting to play too safe, because any mistake will lead to lose if enemy can use that, while in late game it can be forgivable
I think a lot of players that I've encountered would need this guide. Some people trashtalk you even though they don't even understand what they are doing.
Commenting because I don't have time to watch all this and I already know how to play conquest but I still want to show appreciation for guides like this and TH-cam to still promote the video.
Stupid question, probably, but - how crucial is farming here? In DotA is was pretty brutal, with no assists and potential denials. How's SMITE in this regard? Can you compensate for lane farming with harassing your opponent and such? Do you need to deal consistent damage to the wave creeps to move further, or just try to last-hit it to not be drawn too far away from the tower?
I really hope you remake the Support Guide you made a couple years ago. That changed the enjoyment of the game because I just followed that guide and was great with support.
Could greatly benefit from a rotations guide. I spend way to much time in lane doing nothing cause I have no idea when to rotate or what to do when I’ve got time between minion waves.
Nice video! Right now i'm only playing normal conquest, how can i enable "text-description" on camps? I saw it in many videos, but can't find setting for it.
If you are stealing flowers from the other teams obelisk does it reveal you to them like a ward? I have yet to even be able to steal more than 1 flower without getting ganked.
So I never knew that Primal Fury was a permanent stackable buff. Do you happen to know the specifics? I'm surprised no ones tried a video exploiting the buff and attempting to see how easily they can shred fire with a few permanent stacks
Dont really think primal will help shred fg as fg scales as the game goes on in the long run. It wont be feesable to get enough stacks with the rotating gfs to make a huge impact on fg
Still based off the scaling of Primal I'd like to know how much it actually helps with fire. Based off the scaling I want to know if exploited properly people could be one shotting buffs. Don't care that much about FG. More concerned with Primal itself.
@@Sacred9000 But you get Primal to help shred objectives. FG scales on its own. Not based off how many Primal furies you've killed. So I'm curious how mcih extra damage Primal gives you. Cause it'll still help.
4:08 I do think this is not that of a common think and in other mobas you only rotate and roam if the enemy support is also doing it , even more if it's a strong ganker support, so you have to report him missing and try to follow his rotation/roam. I've seen people flame others for this with no concrete criticism or even suggestions or teach others about it. specially to new players or people with level 30 or more but only played in beta or early stages of SMITE and then they came back not long ago (like, years afterwards) to play it and try it again.
I think I'm starting to get the basics of conquest down, my biggest challenge is learning all the items for building, and learning how to counter build. I don't even know what the enemy is building or where to look
This does seem like an abridged guide. Even some of the terms described I don't understand. Guide was more so written for intermediate players instead of a "first time MOBA" player guide. Just a thought for a future video.
I played a lot of smite in 2014/2015. Im trying to get bsck into it now that my little brother started playing but man, i basically need to relearn everything
Pretty sure he stated before not to take the meta (e.g. tierlists) too seriously when youre starting out Just stick to the general role of the god (mage->midlane, hunter/magical adc->duolane etc.) and you'll probably be fine

@@ichbins8088 thats what i mean how am i supposed to know that? I would Like to have a list anywhere with all gods for each Role, that can potentially be good there

I’d like for ppl to understand the K/D means nothing in conquest. Tell me how many towers you’ve helped taken down ? None ? Then your 22 kills are meaningless to me since they cost us all ours.
Thanks, this is proof once again that this game mode just isn't fun. Far too much PVE. Too much math where you get 5 gold and XP more to be better 🤢. Absolutely nothing for me.
I think even in a brief guide, a better explanation of the obelisk would have been valuable since I'd say it's more valuable than the pyro and in some cases the gold fury. Don't forget each team gets 15 gold and experience per offering when one is filled, per player, so the team that fills it gets 525 gold and exp. You also take 15% damage per offering juiced from an enemy obelisk, not 10% and have for at least a week so should have updated in the video. You're better than this Inters3ct!

Great Guide! One other minor detail that could be mentioned about rotations is the Pathing you take and the risks that come along with certain paths.
Best guide I’ve seen in my 4 years of playing
Great video very helpful while trying to learn as a new player, now if I could only wrap my head around the shop and all these item's.
Great video keeping it short and sweet without missing key details. Most informative and well planned video I seen on this topic
Can't wait for the in depth role guides!
New player, love the comprehensive guide! Thank you!
Learnt about wards (certainly wasn't using them correctly) 🙈
Nice uses of the divinity soundtrack!
