Andrew York - Just Sayin'

- "Just Sayin'" - For me this piece invokes the spirit of a time long gone by, when as a little boy I would play music with my father and uncle, and we'd have family sing-alongs. A relaxed and cool groove, this piece blends so much of the music I loved at that time, from early folk music to Smother's Brothers recordings to a generous hint of Antonio Carlos Jobim.

It's like leaving the city and you start to see hills, trees and nature everywhere. And then after being out there, you find nature has its own bustle, rhythm and flow. Nothing ever really rests. ✨☕💚
Wow, this is so beautiful. Many thanks for your comment, MsCygnusX1!
I like to listen to Andrew with my eyes closed. His CLEAN playing guides me along his melodic path. Nice walk, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it, and many thanks for your beautiful comment, Gramps!
One of those rare players who never disappoints.
Many thanks for your beautiful comment, Kenneth!
we are lucky to be alive in the same era of mister York, we are living his compositions by his hands. His music will be the classical music of the future. I am always taken by Andrew clean style, the melodic taste, and he knows when and where to play a dissonance with perfect balance to the rest of the armony. A true composer. As always thank you for your gifts. I have dedicated a tune to you mister York and sent it at your mail address please check it
Wow, what a beautiful comment, Gian. Many thanks!
It is difficult to make something so unique still sound so beautiful on a first listen. Bravo.
Many thanks for your beautiful comment, Mark!
It is in the quiet that the intimate conversation can flow to you . The warm tone of wooden humanity under the soft touch of flesh and nail. The enlightening emotional intelligence that expresses us in the every man. I hear you brother and I could not agree more. Just sayen.
Many thanks for your beautiful and thoughtful comment, Ted!

I’m a steel string player Andrew, but one thing I admire so much about you nylon players is how you work so hard to coax every note. You are certainly becoming one of my favorites. ❤
Wow, thanks for your beautiful comment!
Well if that isn't the beauty of the nylon guitar personified. Who could not be moved by that? Wonderful.
Many thanks, David!
Hermoso, maestro 👏
Many thanks, Rolando!
Amazing ! Sounds and looks beautiful 🎵
Göran, I'm so happy to hear from you! Thanks for your comment, much appreciated. Annie and I spent some time with Takao in Kyoto and we spoke of you. We wished you were there too.

* me, sitting outside, judging people to that tune *😂
Wonderful, very relaxing. Could you do a video, if you haven't already, on nail care and shaping? As I get older I'm experiencing trouble with cracking and splitting on my R finger. The others are fine. Thanks!
Michael, I did already on my subscription side: andrewsden.com/ Please have a look.
This sounds like an orchestra playing! 👏
Many thanks, Kenneth!
That was exactly the first thing that came to mind for me, before you even said it. Sounds like an orchestra.

By chance a few days ago I thought of an old friend and an Album that came to me through his father a long time ago, so to say.
"EDU E TOM - TOM E EDU" with ÉDU LOBO and TOM JOBIM. As I heard, some called Antonio Carlos Jobim Tom.
Lovely piece, Andrew! Thank you for sharing. An inspiring musician and top guy! This is the reason I study the guitar. BW Oliver, Oxford, UK

独自の響きがこの作品にもありますね。
こちらこそ感謝します。心温まります。🙏🇯🇵🗾
This piece has such a happy vibe! It puts a smile on my face😊. Andrew, you are my favorite contemporary classical guitar composer! I've been a fan ever since your LA Guitar Quartet days, and was fortunate in being able to attend all of the quartet performances when you came to Hartford Connecticut years ago.
Happy to hear that, Marian. Thanks!
An amazing piece of music. The clarity in your playing sounds relelentlessly clean.
Many thanks, Nathan!
¡Qué delicia! cuando uno es bueno de verdad, le sale música que parece sencilla y nunca es trivial.
Many thanks for your beautiful comment, Juan!
A simple melody ornamented with a warm touch, loving musicality and emotional depth of joyness!!
Many thanks for your beautiful comment, James!
Share in online reviews; Guitars and electric guitars belong to the same family. The guitar is the most popular and fashionable musical instrument in the world. It's both elegant and ordinary. Popular in palaces and squares. It is recommended to start learning guitar in primary school (preferably organized by the school, with regular guidance from outside performers on a voluntary basis). Parents buy a children's guitar as a toy for their children to inspire their love for music, appreciate the sound of the piano, practice listening, use their brains and hands to learn music theory, and interact with friends. Cultivate team spirit, children will be grateful to their parents when they grow up, and learning at all levels will benefit! The guitar has many advantages: I wrote an eighteen-sentence jingle myself; it has a wide range, many tonal changes, strange tonal changes, full harmonies, beautiful timbre, many skills, self-playing, self-singing, small band, and solo accompaniment , understanding of music theory, notation of musical notation, standing and sitting performance. Strong improvisation, group music, wide range of players, diverse ways of playing, suitable for all ages, affordable price
(Personal observation, for reference only, please give me your advice) Sharing in the spring of 2024 (83-year-old learning electric guitar

サンバもいいですが、朝の光がパートね差してくるねその光景ですよね。ひとつねこの素晴らしい曲に日本語の歌詞を付けて歌にしたいと思うんですが、OK牧場ですか?

Sounds like a whole lot of snow but still enough to eat and heat.
brillante! ¿Qué afinación utilizas para esta composición?
Andrómeda, the tuning for "Just Saying" is what I call
"Yamour-Tuning", D A D F# B D.
I wonder what it would be like if you added a song to your guitar? I'm sure it would be great.
Hello Sir do you teach music composition or arrangements for guitar? If you have any website where I can get your lesson that will help me a lot. Thank you Sir. Take care
Yes, Siddhartha. I teach everything related to music and guitar including composition and arrangements on my website "Andrew's Den" andrewsden.com/
What brand of strings are on the guitar?
These are LaBella strings.
They're well matched to the instrument. Plus the performer, of course!
:) !
