There is a Dutch movie called 'de lift' 1983 which later got a kind of remake in english in 2001 called 'Down'. Its about a lift that actively kills people boarding it due to a bio-organic circuitboard that was added to it.

For Ryan: The main problem with the sleep modes on WIn/Linux machines is a firmware setting. These days most OSs set the firmware sleep mode to S2 (modern standby). Check your distro's documentation for enabling hibernate and adjusting sleep modes to disable modern standby
This is because they are making their new COSMIC desktop, the next version of PopOS will use COSMIC so when that’s ready, that is when the distribution will get all the updates - MT
