hybrid and plug-in is where it's at. why doesn't it trickle charge the battery when plugged in, unbelievable!? Are they gonna do a Milwaukee and take 3 rounds of model updates to get it right? (like the Milwaukee auto-ratchets)

What an oversight by DeWalt for not charging the battery when plugged in. Either that or they're just cutting costs like most manufacturers to maximize profits. Shame.

Do you know if it is matching height to the DWST08035?
I have the battery charger which is a shorter height than the mentioned box, it has my curiosity if something is stackable above this light and a box.
Another great review thanks as always. Like the seat idea. I imagine you could attach one of Dewalts small parts cases to the bottom of the crate and then move it to the top when you take the light off and just sit on that. Not padded but I imagine it would hold the weight of most people using it as a seat.

Been struggling lately with that one. I cannot imagine pushing them out to everyone.
The packout light's seem to have 1 advantage, they can be mid stack and still be used. This has to be on top. Milwaukee seemed to figure out people dont like playing musical boxes and are working on making as many things side access as possible. The only other one to understand that seems to be toughbuilt with the new stacktech line

When you said EVs are a piece of shit it took me off guard. I actually laughed out loud. Good stuff man.
This car has left us stranded a few times and it is a sore spot with me. The learning curve to fix it myself sucks and the service centers suck and are few and far between. I cannot afford to sell it due to the astronomical depreciation. So, it strikes a chord once and a while and I let it rip.

Great review thanks. Great insight as well. Thank you for pointing out the bigger hand will have an issue, at first, getting the battery out. I have gorilla hands, so it’ll take some getting used to. The price point is a little bit of an issue for what you’re getting. But I’m dumb enough to buy it anyway.
Your thoughts on improvements for this product are pretty well thought out. Dewalt should put you on the product development team.

Well Paul, I also HAD a Ford Mach E. I earned Platinum Status at my Ford Service center with that baby and I lost my butt when I sold it at 13K miles. The Tesla has been much more reliable, but not problem free.
