You could tell what the tone of the interview would be from the dishevelled lack of response the failed TV judge turned mouth piece for hire made to Rhun's Welsh retort to Good Morning. Proceeding, in the very next seconds to not even get his name correct: The leader of a National Party, politican and broadcaster for many years [zero research, total disrespect out the gate].
I love how the other presenter said the line wrong from her earpiece, imposing a "gotcha" moment... then put her foot in her own mouth explaining the very point that HS2 is an England only project - nothing to do with us in Cymru [yet we're paying £4 BILLION!? WITH A FFYCIN *B* !?!?!].
What an absolute rodeo of an interview, where lucky Rhun's a sheppard and led the way home every time.
So glad I voted Rhun for leader of Plaid Cymru, and only wish I had him standing in my area in the Senedd: an outstanding representative and ambassador of our nation.

Just as much as countries Ireland and Scotland, which will hopefully gain independence in the near future. We have our own resources and businesses which bring stability. Wales has one of the largest potential of electricity energy in the whole of Europe and the many billions we lose from being attached to England, and that isn't something you just gloss over and of course this something the EU would want.

@@DianeD862 It is our own language which is much older than yours, so why would we promote it more than it already has. This is also without mentioning the fact that Wales has better speaking and literatury quality of English in the whole of the UK which is followed by Scorland, so not even you own language is spoken or pronounced better than us in comparison to your entire country. So , when you make the argument of us being shameful to your language you couldn't be further from the truth. If we didn't promote it and kept it alive , we would be no different to a regular english person and would meet the same fate as the cornish and gaelic languages

Where, I'd like for you to explain what other party represents Cymru in Westminster, or in our Senedd? Let me guess - you don't like that we have a Welsh parliament, think its a waste of money and we shouldnt throw more out the window raising our parliament count to *90 members* [everyone do the shocked face]... meanwhile, England has 533mps, Scotland 57 mps, Cymru 32mps and NI 18mps.... @@alynwillams4297 no, it's nothing to do with population it's simple economics.
it's dependent upon the uk government (and therefore england) for the income to be a going concern.
If wales had to pay for everything itself, either taxes would increase enormously or massive cuts would need to be made in local and national government.
i've no problem with wales being independent if that's what the people who live in there want just remember there are always consequences with change
