Anton always seems to find a way to make the childhood me happy😂😂 ice picks and drywall It seems the drywall also would be weaker the more holes are around it, snd the more hole above one another. Also where the drywall is on the vertical 2x4's it wouldnt be easy to sink a pick but the horizontal ones would be amazing not that you could know 2 inchs from the wall with your face lol but that seems to be the last mans problem (sorry i forgot his name) idk just a thought Note: Carter
I watched Magnus try this on an ice wall and it's Mega Hard! The pros just go up ice walls like spiders. One thing they did and double or triple hit a hold if they didn't get a good purchase -- my very idiot evaluation is you can reach higher if you have the confidence of a solid "punch". You guys were fun to watch!
Diana could have used her strength to go up but keep in mind that the amount of force that would propel her up would also be applied to the wall and I think those holds wouldn't be able to take that. It is like trying to use an old wooden ladder. The wood just barely able to hold your weight but jumping on it would just break it.
I think the problem with the ice climbing gear is it's too blade-like and sheetrock is kinda designed to be cut/torn, so it would actually be easier with like railroad spikes or something more rounded... except you'd have a lot less to hold on to.
Haha, now i know why ice climbing without ice is called dry walling ;). Looked really fun and now i want to hit a drywall to see if it really is that hard... Just a question though: did you not do figure of 4s on purpose? Seems like it would gave been easier at the beginning...
the thing about punching through drywall is that the harder you punch it the less it hurts. so if your punching 3 times to get through instead of 1 clean solid punch way more pain. almost 0 if you punch strait through.
Ow just vast amounts of ow, my knuckles hurt just thinking about trying to punch a hole through it. Good effort with the ice pick maybe you of had crampons as well, though that might ruin the trampoline.

He basically did a series of one armed pull-ups, one after another until he could finally get a toe into the wall. Imagine how exhausting just ONE would be. (IF I could even do ONE).
I can’t imagine how long Anton has had this idea and just has been waiting around for the perfect wall to do this on with all his buddies 🏠🚧🤛
