Green's Greeenery hit me. That solo is awesome as well. I believe Barry Greene recommended transcribing it as opposed to just focusing on scales galore. Grantstand is a great record. It is a shame that mostly guitarists know and appreciate Grant, and 90s hip hop producers. Unique player. Instantly recognizable. Not many guitarists can say that. Also, some of the live recordings that have been released lately show that he could comp pretty well. No Kenny Burrell, but he could play chords. He knew when not to play or overplay. Thanks for this. Not enough Grant Green out there.
