Leo Chears 1972 w: Grant Green

St. Louis' then-KSD station radio personality Leo Chears interviewed Grant Green, the most recorded artist for Blue Note Records in 1972. He sent this interview to me on a cassette tape while I was working on the biography about Grant's life in the 1990s. Later, Chears generously took me and Grant's youngest son and namesake on a tour of the E. St Louis, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri, he and Grant knew well. For years, I searched for the copyright holder for this interview, one of hundreds Chears conducted with jazz greats. It is offered in a fair use context. Please do not duplicate.
