    Hello. I was pretty amazed how suspention started to move freely after I made this mod. But it was the clear for me that there some reason to limit the movement of suspention. And after this video I see the problem.
    So I fixed this by following manner: I put long screws(8 mm) instead of short ones, which are hold the body plate. Thus you limit the arm way a lot. But there still 2-3 mil play. Then I made fine adjustment by placing 2 shims (included to the kit) on top of wheel hub.
    So now I have very smooth suspension but with limit to prevent wheel blocking.

    Brand new to the mini z. Just picked up the rwd Sauber. I love the different views you have on this stuff. I need to find me a scrap body now don't want to mess up the Sauber

      I love the Sauber. It is my favorite car. I have 3. They are very strong and it is one of the lightest LM bodies. One was a body that I painted myself. I like the other two factory painted ones more. Lol

    I have the P1 and it's plagued with the problems you mentioned. For me, I checked by turning the wheels all the way to one side and compressing the car on the opposite side while pushing forward and see if the base of the body hits the ground before the tire hits the top of the wheel well on the body. If not, then you are golden.

    Hi, I was wondering if you made the lexan wings on your cars or if you bought them. nd, if you bought them, do you have a link to the vendor? If you made them, do you have a pattern?

      I made them. I have a pattern for the McLaren 12C. I may still have one for the Audi R8 LMS and Corvette ZR1 somewhere. I made a simple one that tapes onto the C9 Mercedes that works great. You can tell immediately upon entering the first high speed corner after a long straightaway.
      The mounting holes must be perfect or the screws will flex the plastic. I thought about selling them pre-C19 bs but decided since they have to be custom cut I didn't bother.

      @@EXPIOWA Cool, thanks for the info... I think I can copy your design and make one for my McLaren.
      I understand why you didn't try selling them. I designed a couple parts for the WLToys 104001 and I offered to sell them at a reasonable price, but dealing with invoicing, 3d printing the parts, shipping to international addresses, etc, became a time drain not worth the few bucks I was making. Finally, I uploaded the 3D files to Thingiverse and let everyone know they could have them for free.

    did you have to cut a hole in your rear window after putting on a disk damper and a spring?

    • @EXPIOWA
      @EXPIOWA  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have had to do that in the past. If the screw rubs on the window it will not perform as intended.
