Watching The QE2 Leave New York For The Last Time, Bought Me To Tears. It Was Like Saying Goodbye To An Old Friend, Knowing That They Will Never Come Back Home. But I Appreciated Seeing Her Up Close. GLAMOROUS.

@highlyopinionated1 Well spotted. (I am the film maker) I first saw QM2 on 2005 at New York harbor and shot some images using a SD camera. When I sailed on her in 2008, I needed some external shots - so naturally I spliced them in. And yes, the QM lacks the grace of the QE, which looks like a ship, not a hotel. But I need to re-submit this video because it squeezed to 4:3 from 16:9.

While QE2 (not QE) is/was indeed most graceful in her lines and appearance as a classic ocean liner, I disagree that the QM2 (not QM) lacks the same grace and you can't compare her to the other modern hotel flats on water that exist today. Remember, her design was based off various other liner's of yesteryear (QM,QE2, Normandie) etc.
