In the 6th grade I had a teacher ( Mr. Horn ) who claimed that he went to Heaven after suffering a heart attack. He claimed that he woke up in a beautiful valley filled with different kinds of plants and flowers of many different colors and some he had never seen before in his life and he felt nothing but pure peace and joy and he didn't want to leave that place and then he said everything went black and he woke up on the floor surrounded by paramedics who resuscitated him. He said that he'll never forget that experience as long as he lives.

Nonsense. He was dreaming. Your brain is still functioning right after death. You see things and you assume it is heaven. Your mind is very powerful. You can wake up from a deep sleep dream and be confused about where you are and believe the dream was real but it wasn't. This is proof that after death dreams are only dreams. And doctors have said your brain still function for a time immediately after you die. If your brain died immediately after your heart stops there would be no resuscitation ever. And we obviously know there is.

I have died and have had 2 out of body experiences.the first time I found myself in purgatory or hell,I really don't know which but I was in a very dark hot place. The only light I could see was from holes in the rocky floor. I could hear people screaming and could smell flesh and hair burning. 3 maybe 4 demons came out of a cell towards me.Out of nowhere I heard a stern,peaceful voice that said your life for another, I said yes lord and immediately I woke up with the doctor hitting me with the paddles.The last time I died I was brought up from my body to what I have to describe was the gates of heaven being escorted by a beautiful light. After I went through the gate I had to close my eyes to adjust to the light there.I found myself walking on a bridge into a street and all around me were others;men, women, and children. The colors I seen were magnificent. Colors I have ever seen. On both sides in the distance were rolling hills with shepards tending to flocks of cattle and and other livestock. Beautiful birds flying everywhere. In the distance was an enormous castle. The closer I got to it I found it hard to look at it.There was a bright light emanating from it,which I could only imagine was the countenance of God,Yaweh all Mighty.The only thing I could feel was love and joy.But a feeling came over me that I could return to this realm and find some others to bring back with me. So I turned around and went back through the gates. When I woke up and all I can think of was because of the countenance of God i had been in the presence of my vision, hearing, and taste had all been enhanced. I know my Lord and Savior are real and I am called to win as many souls I can for the Kingdom of God.

When I was 7 years old, I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle and in a coma for 11 days. I remember my near death experience while I was in the coma. Yes, I had an NDE and -like they all say- it was more real to me than the 3d experience we are living in at this moment. It's hard to explain but fear of death is gone. This woman who I have a feeling is an angel came and told my sister and I that we will find a blind man and make sure to help him! Two days later we saw this man by our house who was blind! We gave him a toothbrush, food and we gave him something else that I can't remember. After that the man was never seen again. I believe the man was a test to see if we will have trust in God. My dad passed away 1/16/23. He was a Christian and said he was ready to go home to heaven. I pray he is there and out of pain and rejoicing to God with all of our other relatives that have gone before him , including all our four legged babies our family has love through the years. When I was 6 years old during my open heart surgery in 1960 . I died while being transferred to a huge heart - lung machine . I saw me in the operating room over my own body . I saw a staircase to the heaven . It was a white light that I followed into heaven When I arrived told in heaven everything was white and warm . All these people started coming to greet me. I did know them but these knew people . I heard the voice of my Lord and he told I would have to go back . But I never felt sadness or even missed my mom and dad. I told the Lord I didn’t want to go back . I wanted to stay in heaven. But the Lord told me I would be back but I had to return back to my body. It was so warn and the warmest feeling of love that caressed me all over. and it was so bright. He returned me back to my body and the Lord gave me the gift of discernment. Which I am blessed to have and use it as the Lord sees fit.

The doctors couldn’t figure out what was going on and none of the medicine was working. The doctors told my kids that they needed to take care of my final expenses because they were sure that I wouldn’t come out of the coma alive. I actually came out of the coma on Easter Sunday, and I knew then that I was a walking miracle. I know that it was because of my Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and my mom. I believe that she is my guardian Angel and is always watching over me.

Heaven- being there is great, all peaceful nothing to worry about at all, so calm so comforting. The city is very bright but I was not allowed to see it all. The room I was in had gold walls with gems and emeralds in it and the carpet was purple colored, no furniture until you needed to sit and furniture would happen. It was the greatest place to be and I didn't want to leave, but I was told to leave because my life was not finished yet. So I know heaven is a beautiful place.

I once had a dream, and as I recall it here, my eyes well of tears for the pure ecstatic joy of it. In my dream, I was admiring the starry night sky through a telescope. As I looked I saw a star, growing brighter, whiter. I turned my gaze away from the lens and stared in wonder at the light that seemed to move closer, and gain in magnitude, yet it cast no beams and lit nothing near. I began to feel a tingling, and felt a heat emanating from the light in the sky. As I began to wonder and even fear what I was seeing, suddenly a wave of intense heat washed over me. I felt the tingle grow into what should have been an agony of burning, because as I looked at my hand outstretched, my skin was turning black as if on fire! The edges bright red like smoldering paper. In a fearful panic I started to scream! But I heard a very loud earthshattering voice in my mind declare "in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at this, the last trump has sounded, the dead will are raised imperishable, and you become changed!". At that, what started as a burning, a raging personal inferno, was realized to be the living sin of my soul being run out! The temptation of my imperfect heart was resisting the cleansing of my spirit. I could feel a great burdening weight leave as a shadow cast by the moon dissolves in its bright glow. The heat turned into such an indescribable ecstasy! A feeling of extreme peace, joy, happiness, beyond a human beings understanding. As the ash of what was I floated away on the cool breeze, I became aware of the whitest and brightest light bathing me, as one bathes in a cool well of water. The relaxation that came upon me made me feel sleepy, drowsy. I heard that Universal voice (thought) say "SLEEP", and I did. As my eyes closed in my dream, my waking imperfect ones opened on my dimly lit bedroom. I felt the tickle of a thought in my mind assuring me that what I had just witnessed was to come, and it was promised. I felt the dampness of my pillow as I realized I had been crying in my sleep. I could feel the heat, the joy, the openness and the cool white light faintly still, fading. It's been 20 years nearly to the day, and I still feel the hope of that calmness. I still feel it's influence attempting to calm my mind in this world, assuring me of the next. I will always remember the dream, and I will always long for the void it fills within my soul.
I believe in God. But, I wouldn't call myself a big religious person. I don't go to church and I don't really know much about the Bible. Honestly, I hope that once I die that I'll move on to something much better. There's just gotta be something else out there besides while your alive. Hopefully my comment made somewhat sense.

God said there is only one way to get to heaven, but it is not hard. You must admit you are a sinner and that you understand that the punishment for sin is eternal torment in hell in a lake of fire. You must understand that Jesus took that punishment for you when He died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for your sins and that He rose from the grave 3 days later. That is the gospel. If you believe these things, then all you have to do is humbly admit to God that you are a sinner deserving of hell, but you believe that he paid for your sins on the cross and rose again 3 days later. Ask him to forgive you and be merciful to you and give you eternal life. Thank Him for His saving you. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Let me warn you though, that if you don't get saved, and you reject God's sacrifice for you, you are already condemned and will suffer the torment of burning in hell for eternity in a lake of fire where you will be forever separated from God and all that is loving and good. God is holy and you must come His way or no way. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is so unfulfilling for me. What about the concept of awareness? How do you know you're in heaven? In order to recognize your loved ones you will need to be aware. Keep in mind that awareness is connected to a physical body: you "are" your mind and your body. I assume the body will be gone in heaven? What if you die from dementia, or as a one-year-old? What kind of awareness will you have? Will they recognize their loved ones? Once we are in heaven and met our loved ones, what's next? The required awareness will give us a sense of time. From that moment on we will thus have to face eternity? All nice and cosy together? What a horrible punishment. We are not made for eternity. Our mind or soul or whatever can't handle that. Neither can the mind of a so-called creator. Also creation requires awareness. So God is a self-aware entity, with human-like properties (read this in the bible...), having to face eternity all alone? I feel sorry for him/her/it...

I saw heaven for myself when I had a seizure and went into a coma 8 years ago it was perfect and I remember having this sweet drink and it was perfect and god threw me back to earth after telling me to tell everyone I knew about my experience and I promised to never stop telling people about my experiences because they should be in heaven with me one day

I've had a outer body experience but I was translated from this realm in the twinkling of an eye...to a realm of complete torment....I wasn't in a body so I couldn't move or look around. I was just in torment and could hear my thoughts out loud. It was unlike any torment you could ever experience in the physical body. I could hear hundreds, maybe thousands of millions of voices around me that were in torment and horrifying hollering and screaming. I called out JESUS name about 4-5 times and I was translated in the twinkling of an eye so far above the earth that the earth was smaller as a pebble which let me know I was so far up in space....I wasn't in a body....had no human remembrance of my life on earth but was in so much peace and calmness as if had been created ALL over again.

My papa dale died from a heart attack, my papa frank died from his last breath and they both believed in god and both are in heaven right now they been gone for 3-4 years now.
So, the boy who was responsible for "Heaven is For Real" recently recanted and said his Dad basically egged him on and made up the whole thing. Also says he doesn't remember any of the stuff in the book. With that said,...I am a skeptical person, but I also have two or three acquaintances who have also had "Near Death Experiences" and their stories are profound to say the least. One was mashed up in a terrible accident involving a big rig, another almost died from an infection, and the third was shot in combat while serving overseas. It's not so much the details of their stories which interest me, but rather the similarities. ALL of them explain the same "light", the same "feeling of ultra-realness or hyper-reality, and lastly, they all no longer have any fear of death. In an attempt to trip them up, I will often ask them to tell me the story again, which they do willingly. I look for inconsistencies or changes in the story which could indicate they are fabricating the event. However all three have told the exact same story with ZERO changes or embellishments every time I ask, even admitting "I dont know" when I ask them something about the experience which they haven't recounted before. It's interesting to say the least. I also don't see any reason why our organic nature could preclude the existence of an immaterial self. If quantum mechanics can allow for things like entanglement, quantum tunneling, and superposition, then a "non-local conscious ether that we all belong to" becomes less insane to believe in.
When you pass, and if you DONT see your lived ones, you won't miss them like you think you will. You'll remember them, but you won't feel that heavy pain of missing them... Heaven is complete and total peace... like we can't imagine. I had a poodle growing up too.
I mean they're like dreams. Dreams are basically the things that we've seen throughout the day or week or thoughts we've had throughout the day as well. All of that mixes into a random story or scenario that we go through when we sleep. Well what if Heaven is the same way? All our lives we've heard about what heaven is considered to be, but what if we never were described that's what heaven was? What would our brains make of it? example:what if people were being discribed heaven and hell but backwards? all throughout the centuries and millenniums that's what people would think instead of people having their own idea of what heaven is, instead of what it actually is. I think Heaven is what you make it to be. For some it's pearly white gates, for some it's reliving the best memories of your life, and for some it's literally just peaceful sitting in the middle of nowhere. Just remember or imagine can take us anywhere we want we are fascinating humans and our imagination as well as creating of in our head can take it anywhere
Well if that's all heaven is then it explains why ghosts exist. Nothing about being stuck in your own imagination and memories (essentially just continued dreaming) sounds heavenly. That would be torture for some and lonely and sad for others. I hope there is more going on, like once you pass you have the ability to exist and travel anywhere and at anytime...just imagine going back to visit ancient Rome or Machu Picchu and then visiting with any relative or friend who passed and literally being around every human who've ever passed...

In the 6th grade I had a teacher ( Mr. Horn ) who claimed that he went to Heaven after suffering a heart attack.
He claimed that he woke up in a beautiful valley filled with different kinds of plants and flowers of many different colors and some he had never seen before in his life and he felt nothing but pure peace and joy and he didn't want to leave that place and then he said everything went black and he woke up on the floor surrounded by paramedics who resuscitated him.
He said that he'll never forget that experience as long as he lives.

You can wake up from a deep sleep dream and be confused about where you are and believe the dream was real but it wasn't. This is proof that after death dreams are only dreams. And doctors have said your brain still function for a time immediately after you die. If your brain died immediately after your heart stops there would be no resuscitation ever. And we obviously know there is.

I have died and have had 2 out of body experiences.the first time I found myself in purgatory or hell,I really don't know which but I was in a very dark hot place. The only light I could see was from holes in the rocky floor. I could hear people screaming and could smell flesh and hair burning. 3 maybe 4 demons came out of a cell towards me.Out of nowhere I heard a stern,peaceful voice that said your life for another, I said yes lord and immediately I woke up with the doctor hitting me with the paddles.The last time I died I was brought up from my body to what I have to describe was the gates of heaven being escorted by a beautiful light. After I went through the gate I had to close my eyes to adjust to the light there.I found myself walking on a bridge into a street and all around me were others;men, women, and children. The colors I seen were magnificent. Colors I have ever seen. On both sides in the distance were rolling hills with shepards tending to flocks of cattle and and other livestock. Beautiful birds flying everywhere. In the distance was an enormous castle. The closer I got to it I found it hard to look at it.There was a bright light emanating from it,which I could only imagine was the countenance of God,Yaweh all Mighty.The only thing I could feel was love and joy.But a feeling came over me that I could return to this realm and find some others to bring back with me. So I turned around and went back through the gates. When I woke up and all I can think of was because of the countenance of God i had been in the presence of my vision, hearing, and taste had all been enhanced. I know my Lord and Savior are real and I am called to win as many souls I can for the Kingdom of God.

When I was 7 years old, I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle and in a coma for 11 days. I remember my near death experience while I was in the coma. I was walking through a pitch black dark tunnel towards a bright yellow light that called my name in a deep voice. He said “Peter, come here.” As I walked towards the light, I heard my parents calling my name to come to them. They said, “Peter, come here.” They were reaching out there arms to me. I turned around, saw my parents and ran to them. I then opened my eyes and I lived.

Yes, I had an NDE and -like they all say- it was more real to me than the 3d experience we are living in at this moment. It's hard to explain but fear of death is gone. Although I don't look forward on the process of dying itself. But it is an absolute rebirth. The soul lives on and we are here for the soul to grow in consciousness by the experiences we go through. Especially the though ones.

This woman who I have a feeling is an angel came and told my sister and I that we will find a blind man and make sure to help him! Two days later we saw this man by our house who was blind! My dad passed away 1/16/23. He was a Christian and said he was ready to go home to heaven. I pray he is there and out of pain and rejoicing to God with all of our other relatives that have gone before him , including all our four legged babies our family has love through the years.

When I was 6 years old during my open heart surgery in 1960 . I died while being transferred to a huge heart - lung machine . I saw me in the operating room over my own body . I saw a staircase to the heaven . It was a white light that I followed into heaven When I arrived told in heaven everything was white and warm . All these people started coming to greet me. I did know them but these knew people . I heard the voice of my Lord and he told I would have to go back . But I never felt sadness or even missed my mom and dad. I told the Lord I didn’t want to go back . I wanted to stay in heaven. But the Lord told me I would be back but I had to return back to my body. It was so warn and the warmest feeling of love that caressed me all over. and it was so bright. He returned me back to my body and the Lord gave me the gift of discernment. Which I am blessed to have and use it as the Lord sees fit.

The doctors couldn’t figure out what was going on and none of the medicine was working. The doctors told my kids that they needed to take care of my final expenses because they were sure that I wouldn’t come out of the coma alive. I actually came out of the coma on Easter Sunday, and I knew then that I was a walking miracle. I know that it was because of my Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and my mom. The room I was in had gold walls with gems and emeralds in it and the carpet was purple colored, no furniture until you needed to sit and furniture would happen. It was the greatest place to be and I didn't want to leave, but I was told to leave because my life was not finished yet. So I know heaven is a beautiful place.

I once had a dream, and as I recall it here, my eyes well of tears for the pure ecstatic joy of it. In my dream, I was admiring the starry night sky through a telescope. As I looked I saw a star, growing brighter, whiter. I turned my gaze away from the lens and stared in wonder at the light that seemed to move closer, and gain in magnitude, yet it cast no beams and lit nothing near. I began to feel a tingling, and felt a heat emanating from the light in the sky. As I began to wonder and even fear what I was seeing, suddenly a wave of intense heat washed over me. I felt the tingle grow into what should have been an agony of burning, because as I looked at my hand outstretched, my skin was turning black as if on fire! The edges bright red like smoldering paper. In a fearful panic I started to scream! But I heard a very loud earthshattering voice in my mind declare "in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at this, the last trump has sounded, the dead will are raised imperishable, and you become changed!". At that, what started as a burning, a raging personal inferno, was realized to be the living sin of my soul being run out! The temptation of my imperfect heart was resisting the cleansing of my spirit. I could feel a great burdening weight leave as a shadow cast by the moon dissolves in its bright glow. The heat turned into such an indescribable ecstasy! A feeling of extreme peace, joy, happiness, beyond a human beings understanding. As the ash of what was I floated away on the cool breeze, I became aware of the whitest and brightest light bathing me, as one bathes in a cool well of water. The relaxation that came upon me made me feel sleepy, drowsy. I heard that Universal voice (thought) say "SLEEP", and I did. As my eyes closed in my dream, my waking imperfect ones opened on my dimly lit bedroom. I felt the tickle of a thought in my mind assuring me that what I had just witnessed was to come, and it was promised. I felt the dampness of my pillow as I realized I had been crying in my sleep. I could feel the heat, the joy, the openness and the cool white light faintly still, fading. It's been 20 years nearly to the day, and I still feel the hope of that calmness. I still feel it's influence attempting to calm my mind in this world, assuring me of the next. I will always remember the dream, and I will always long for the void it fills within my soul.

Jesus loved us so much He WILLINGLY came and allowed wicked men to spit on Him, mock Him and beat Him until He was unrecognizable. They stripped him naked, thrust a crown of thorns on His head and drove nails into His hands and feet. He hung in agony for hours bleeding. He died in our place so that we could be saved from going to hell. There is no greater love than that!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The good news is that Jesus didn't stay dead in the grave. He came back to life 3 days later just like He said He would. And that proved that He was God! No one else could do that.
Matthew 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Jesus did all this because He wants to give you the free gift of eternal life in heaven with Him!
You cannot do anything to earn your own way into Heaven. You can't work for it, be baptized for it, go to church for it or try to be good enough for it. It is a free gift that God is offering to anyone who will simply receive it by faith.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
God said there is only one way to get to heaven, but it is not hard. You must admit you are a sinner and that you understand that the punishment for sin is eternal torment in hell in a lake of fire. You must understand that Jesus took that punishment for you when He died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for your sins and that He rose from the grave 3 days later. That is the gospel. If you believe these things, then all you have to do is humbly admit to God that you are a sinner deserving of hell, but you believe that he paid for your sins on the cross and rose again 3 days later. Ask him to forgive you and be merciful to you and give you eternal life. Thank Him for His saving you.
Romans 10:9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Let me warn you though, that if you don't get saved, and you reject God's sacrifice for you, you are already condemned and will suffer the torment of burning in hell for eternity in a lake of fire where you will be forever separated from God and all that is loving and good. God is holy and you must come His way or no way.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Please don't wait. Don't take the risk of putting it off until another day, repent, turn to Christ NOW because you aren't guaranteed to live another day on this Earth. Believe God's Word and call on Him today!

This is so unfulfilling for me. What about the concept of awareness? How do you know you're in heaven? In order to recognize your loved ones you will need to be aware. Keep in mind that awareness is connected to a physical body: you "are" your mind and your body. I assume the body will be gone in heaven? What if you die from dementia, or as a one-year-old? What kind of awareness will you have? Will they recognize their loved ones?
Once we are in heaven and met our loved ones, what's next? The required awareness will give us a sense of time. From that moment on we will thus have to face eternity? All nice and cosy together? What a horrible punishment.
We are not made for eternity. Our mind or soul or whatever can't handle that. Neither can the mind of a so-called creator. Also creation requires awareness. So God is a self-aware entity, with human-like properties (read this in the bible...), having to face eternity all alone? I feel sorry for him/her/it...

Eternity is real and yes we are meant to live for eternity with our creator, God. If you repent of your sins and ask Him to come into your heart then you will see how joyful your life can be. Please, don't deter others from finding Jesus just because you don't believe.
Your physical body is only for your time here on earth. It is your soul that will go to Heaven/Hell

I saw heaven for myself when I had a seizure and went into a coma 8 years ago it was perfect and I remember having this sweet drink and it was perfect and god threw me back to earth after telling me to tell everyone I knew about my experience and I promised to never stop telling people about my experiences because they should be in heaven with me one day

I've had a outer body experience but I was translated from this realm in the twinkling of an eye...to a realm of complete torment....I wasn't in a body so I couldn't move or look around. I was just in torment and could hear my thoughts out loud. It was unlike any torment you could ever experience in the physical body. I could hear hundreds, maybe thousands of millions of voices around me that were in torment and horrifying hollering and screaming. I called out JESUS name about 4-5 times and I was translated in the twinkling of an eye so far above the earth that the earth was smaller as a pebble which let me know I was so far up in space....I wasn't in a body....had no human remembrance of my life on earth but was in so much peace and calmness as if had been created ALL over again.

I've wasted so many years missed out on great opportunities that would have prospered me but I didn't want to listen to God when He was using HIS Prophets to speak to me...I've also had deep dreams or visions as warnings of the future but never would listen but I'm alive and breathing for a reason. I guess GOD has not given up on me.

My dear Dad is now happily and peacefully living in Heaven. He has many friends in Heaven, and surrounded by the love of Jesus Christ and almighty God, our Heavenly Father. I will join my dad in Heaven soon, when my time arrives by God's divine grace. My dad will be so happy to see me in Heaven.

I Want To See My Ancestor!
My papa dale died from a heart attack, my papa frank died from his last breath and they both believed in god and both are in heaven right now they been gone for 3-4 years now.
So, the boy who was responsible for "Heaven is For Real" recently recanted and said his Dad basically egged him on and made up the whole thing. Also says he doesn't remember any of the stuff in the book. With that said,...I am a skeptical person, but I also have two or three acquaintances who have also had "Near Death Experiences" and their stories are profound to say the least. One was mashed up in a terrible accident involving a big rig, another almost died from an infection, and the third was shot in combat while serving overseas. It's not so much the details of their stories which interest me, but rather the similarities. ALL of them explain the same "light", the same "feeling of ultra-realness or hyper-reality, and lastly, they all no longer have any fear of death. In an attempt to trip them up, I will often ask them to tell me the story again, which they do willingly. I look for inconsistencies or changes in the story which could indicate they are fabricating the event. However all three have told the exact same story with ZERO changes or embellishments every time I ask, even admitting "I dont know" when I ask them something about the experience which they haven't recounted before. It's interesting to say the least. I also don't see any reason why our organic nature could preclude the existence of an immaterial self. If quantum mechanics can allow for things like entanglement, quantum tunneling, and superposition, then a "non-local conscious ether that we all belong to" becomes less insane to believe in.
This is not the same story...

When you pass, and if you DONT see your lived ones, you won't miss them like you think you will. You'll remember them, but you won't feel that heavy pain of missing them... Heaven is complete and total peace... like we can't imagine. I had a poodle growing up too.
Was your poodle baptized? If so he's already chasing cats in heaven. I prefer hell as I want to be with my friends.

I mean they're like dreams. Dreams are basically the things that we've seen throughout the day or week or thoughts we've had throughout the day as well. All of that mixes into a random story or scenario that we go through when we sleep. Well what if Heaven is the same way? All our lives we've heard about what heaven is considered to be, but what if we never were described that's what heaven was? What would our brains make of it? example:what if people were being discribed heaven and hell but backwards? all throughout the centuries and millenniums that's what people would think instead of people having their own idea of what heaven is, instead of what it actually is. I think Heaven is what you make it to be. For some it's pearly white gates, for some it's reliving the best memories of your life, and for some it's literally just peaceful sitting in the middle of nowhere. Just remember or imagine can take us anywhere we want we are fascinating humans and our imagination as well as creating of in our head can take it anywhere
Well if that's all heaven is then it explains why ghosts exist. Nothing about being stuck in your own imagination and memories (essentially just continued dreaming) sounds heavenly. That would be torture for some and lonely and sad for others. I hope there is more going on, like once you pass you have the ability to exist and travel anywhere and at anytime...just imagine going back to visit ancient Rome or Machu Picchu and then visiting with any relative or friend who passed and literally being around every human who've ever passed...
