LOVING the shelf/stitching in the background. Great information thanks.
This video made we want to pull out all my planner supplies and start tracking all my stitchy stuff 😍😍 Thank you for all the inspiration ❤️
So enabling-And a far cry from my college ruled notebook 😆 So fun to watch!
Thanks for sharing your organization! It is very helpful.
Hello Laura! Great planning and tracking of projects. It looks like it will be creating a note book style project tracker. How Fun
This is a great video. I have the same Commit 30 planner and you gave me new ideas for how to use it. Thanks so much for sharing your planners with us!
Great tips and share on your record keeping. You are so organized❣️ Thanks for sharing 🤗
Thanks for sharing. 💙
I picked up these small bullet journals from the dollar tree, just to keep track of different challenges & such. I’ve been having fun making monthly spreads or WIPs, new starts & finishes, along with the challenges. Nothing fancy, but using pretty color ink lends to mix it up!
I use planners every year and have since I was in high school, 60 years ago. I keep track of everything in my planner including my cross stitch, what i'm doing, and how it's going. But I do have an Excel program that I keep track of all the cross-stitch I'm doing with what I am using, designer etc. Love using stickers.😊
Depending on the project, I like the Sharpie s-notes and the Midliners for coloring. I’m a paper planner girl all the way and use a daily one for life/work (stickers and color a must). If I’m highlighting or coloring I like these two brands. The s-notes tend to be more saturated, and the Midliners more muted. The s-notes just have a chiseled end, but you can flip over and get a smaller point if needed. The Midliners have two different ends, one chiseled and one fine. Can’t go wrong with either!!!!
Thanks for the show and tell. Looks like a great setup! I think you will like the bullet journal with the creativity you have.
I love the shelf with the hooks!!! This is a great spot for your video. Thanks for the extra video.
Thanks for that feedback!
Thank you for this video. I enjoyed it much. I liked your new spot and that shelf is such a good idea.
I make my own flossdrops from pretty papers, sometimes in theme with the pattern I am stitching, and with them I put a label (also selfmade) on the ring with the title and startdate of a project. If a project is finished I put the enddate on the label, the flosses back in my stash and the label in a book. Just like you I like to make things pretty and I like my labels and flossdrops. It is so much fun to prepare a stitch and looking forward to the actual start.
Great video, very informative, I just write notes in my diary and a notebook x
I really like that Commit 30 planner. Might have to think about that for next year. Take care!
l’ve really enjoyed adapting it for my needs.
I liked the video on planning. I use the new planner that just came out last year from Lori Holt. It has pages that you can add for stitching, quilting and yarn projects. I use the yard pages for punch needle since I don't knit or crochet.
My favorite pens are called "LePen". I also like 'thicker' ink and these ones don't tend to bleed through. That may depend on my planner. I just got a dot journal from Dollarama (canadian dollar store... though it cost $4).
I use two paper planners. I need to figure out someway to track challenges without adding another book. I do also use the notion app for a list of patterns, floss and fabric I have.
My head is literally spinning! You have so many things going on that you keep track of, my goodness. Currently I keep track of name of pattern, start, finish, fabric color & count used & if I change a floss color or brand. It all fits on one page, lol. I have yet to figure out how to keep track of counting stitches so if you have any tried and true method please share! I’d love to be able to do that. All those games sound fun, I might try looking for just one simple one. Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi Laura, this was such a good video. I don't have as many projects or activities as you but that's ok. Wondering how you count your stitches are all your charts on your computer and pattern keeper. Thanks
I liked seeing how you plan even though I am doing almost all of it digitally. I have a question though- what is the Facebook group called that you do scategories in?

Thanks for this - I'm trying to be better about keeping track of the things that are important to me about my stitching this year, there are some good ideas here! 🪡👠
