No wonder it's not sticking when you powdered your base before putting the greens on. Also they are pressed pigments, so they need a different techniques to apply rather than brushing them on. No hate, just advice xx
Kristen Febey hate to tell you but Morphe shadows and brushes are bottom of the barrel. I own roughly 100+ palettes and I wouldn’t touch these with a 10-foot pole. Can I work hard enough and spend enough time to get things to blend and not look muddy? Yes. Can I tap on top of a sticky base? Yes. Can I cut crease the crap out of my lids to get this to work? Yes. Will this stay on my eyeballs for 10 hours? No. When you own every Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona palette ever made, this stuff is so incredibly underwhelming, you can’t even imagine. Good luck with that technique of yours to make this palette work. No hate, just advice.
Obviously the way she was doing it was expecting the palette to be effortless and very pigmented. Her technique wasn't the problem. Charlotte Tilbury, Kevin Aucoin, all use similar techniques. Also, pressed pigments are *pigmented,* obviously, not see through after packing on the color, like those greens. If, for someone, a palette requires a lot of work to make it just passable for them, then they can say, "hey, I don't like this. This isn't for me". See this is the mess I don’t have time for. People talk smack about Pat and Natasha Denona in terms of cost but I have never struggled to blend out their shadows and I literarily started learning to apply eyeshadow last year. Viseart palettes are pricey too bu that matte formula is everything. That Morphe palette should not cost that much for that quality.

Even pressed pigments don't need so much effort of they're good. And the one specific palette she reviewed ain't it.
A lot of comments telling Morgan that she needs to try harder or her technique was wrong and she should do this or that, and I'm here like, b*tch if you need that much effort to make the eyeshadow work then it really ain't good eyeshadow. First of all the way you're applying it is going to make it look that way like the way you're just slapping it on your face. not laying down a good base is going to make it look that way. I have this palette and it works amazing maybe you got a fucked up pallet but still like at least give it a good chance
You’re right...plus she put green over an orange shade so it was not working. Seems like she did this intentionally...I have this palette and it’s pretty pigmented
USE DIFFERENT BRUSHES FOR DIFFERENT COLORS OR CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES, you said it best, you haven’t seen any bad tutorials.. yours is the only negative one I’ve seen....
Thank you for the honest video 💕 I know you were just playing with makeup but sometimes that’s the best time to see if something really works. Issa a no for me but still liked the second look 😉
This palette is essence quality. For all the haters we are living in a free country. Everybody can say what they think. If something is not good you can say it. But jeffree fans are like internet spys and attack eyerbody who say the truth😎😎😎😎😎Russian moment here
Wtf?!? Those green shadows were not pigmented, chalky and powdery AF 😳 maybe it was the brushes? I think I’ll buy JS makeup from his brand; way better quality.
it's a good palette. I suggest buying it if you're interested. I'm only saying this because she didn't even try to apply the shadow, and doesn't know how to work with pressed eyeshadows.
@@bograham8523 yeah she tried several times and shes pretty good with makeup so... I mean why use a palette you have to be specific and work really hard with it when there are so many great palettes that work effortlessly.
I think the palettes are inconsistent. I LOVE mine. Like I said somewhere in these comments... I reach for mine daily. I have many palettes from cheaper to premium and I still love this one the most. I recently had a horrible experience with a Dominique cosmetics palette when others were gushing over it. Preference? Idk. But every shade she used looked horrible. That's not the case with mine. "Nate" was actually too much first coat for the look I was going for at the time...I had to blot it off. This blew my mind!
I've had pressed pigments. They can be difficult to use, hard to blend, but they aren't see through. A pressed pigment doesn't need to be "packed on." (Also, not all of the shades are pressed pigments.)
so you started off with a pink base and added green. if we look at the color wheel red is across from green, which means red cancels out green. Pink is a lighter shade of red so the greed will not be as vibrant with the pink base. you also are adding powder onto powder and power won’t stay on powder very well
I really appreciate your honesty. You just saved me $75 on the Bobbi Brown jewel palette. We’re on the same page with Pat McGrath. Don’t waste you money on anything to do with Morphe. There’s no pigmentation. Even if you got it to work with enough effort, it would be enough for an Instagram shot but wouldn’t stay on your eyeballs for a day. Not only is it a waste of money but you get the mindless stans who trash your review without offering any actual content of their own. Anyway, appreciate your honesty. You’re a sweetheart and don’t let the idiots get to you. Don’t be afraid to use that block button. No one deserves hate when they’ve put this much effort into their content.
AnnieShaughnessy7 or maybe you’ve only used cheap eyeshadows before? I have lots of palettes from cheaper brands to expensive ones and it’s usually the cheap palettes that requires a tacky base/requires you to pack on the colours before they show...
Yea your definitely doing something wrong cause I have it & love it ... I did an amazing green look .. looked nothing like this at all .. i think maybe you should use more concealer or an eyeshadow primer
i was so disappointed with this palette. i understand you get what you pay for, but i would like it to look at least somewhat decent. i have a few other morphe products and would choose them over this any day. i am considering returning mine but unfortunately i don’t have a morphe store in my state and doing an online return sounds miserable after reading the policy on the website 😭
I agree that palette is a total failure which I was surprised. The brushes were not good either. They felt cheap and those colors didn't blend well at all.
They may not go together, but that doesn't explain why the greens were see through even after trying to pack them on. She also said she must have picked the wrong shades, implying some of them were ok.
Are you going to return it ? Lol. You shouldn’t have to figure out a way to make a palette work. The other reviews I seen on it were much more pigmented. You may have been sent a bad one ? I didn’t think that the quality would be like J* anyways as you said it’s Morphe. Good review nonetheless. 😊
Disappointed it doesn't work on you. I used almost every shades and it was awesome on me! Maybe try to start to tap it before starting by blending. But everyone has different skin 😉 Thank you for your review!
I am only commenting because this is the first time I seen any of your videos and I see you’re a newer TH-camr. with love, I truly believe you didn’t give the palette a fair chance. You could’ve wet the brush and your application could be a little better(god I hate saying things that can be taken as an insult and I’m not intending it to be just giving honest feedback)the second look looked much better than the first however you probably could’ve blended the darker corner out a tad more and just took it there. I have this palette and I love it(especially the glitter) I encourage you to retry the greens. The second look looks amazing on you
Ohh thank uu.... i think im the only one does not like it yet. I was playing with the pinks ones and torns in a alllll pinkk 🙁🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 and i play with more than 3 shades 🤭🤭
Mmm... I have this palette and each color works like a bomb for me... Pigmented and awesome. I always put an eye concealer on and never set it so it's tacky, then the color sits really well.
I don’t like it either. A lot of the colors just blend away. I get a lot of color on the outside of the eye, it’s like the color moves when I blend. I don’t have that with other palettes.
glad it worked for you! some have suggested using primer and using patting motions. I've just not revisited it - I have many more palttes that I like better. Happy you are liking it though!
1 . It’s the way ur applying every shade ur barley trying 2. Ur opinion seems completely biased 3. With pressed pigments you are suppose to pack it on first then blend it out
I think you need to watch tutorials on how to work with pressed pigments because I have never had a problem with this pallet... your color choices are extremely questionable too... did you even try? This entire review felt biased. I mean, were you trying to convince us or yourself that you have nothing against morphe?
U have yo put concealer on your lid so its wet tacky its looking terrable a few people have had this trouble its beacause your not applying enough concealer. Its artistry pallett its made use concealer even the morphe pallett needs concealer. But im sure thr end result of your eyes will work its looking okay now but the review is good true to how it may deliver. Dont dislike so quick try it with concealer and dony use those pink brushes. Use a smaller brushes, the pallett is selling for £18 pounds i wouldnt pay £35. But its cheaper than CTilbury as her £60 is so expensive ur payinh for packaging and this shimmers in this pallett look beautiful Nikkie tutorials applies this pallette on her eyes just check out her videos and maybe see how she applies it. Ive order this pallett today onky because it was 18 pounds, i was going to buy stilla matalic but the reviews on that is crap waste of money so i put another few pounds in and got this pallett. Test your brushes as sometimes its the bristles beacaue thr shadow is think is consistency so thr brush gets clogged with products and when try to blend it goes patch on clumos amd removes thr existing eyeshadow that you keep applying. Try to pat the shadow and use very light hand to blend edges its lot but it works. Dont throw it away u might like it afterwards use in different way. Ur so prettt and the colours looked pretty on u. Tc hope this helps
Watch stephanie calvillo do the green completely different amount of effort put in and that shows on the pay off you're just dragging this pallet down on purpose

$42 = 10 brushes
Cheap:?
Using green and orange together is literally a recipe for a vomit look sooo
I have the palette and the greens were the same way, i havnt played with all the colors but the other colors i did use seemed to be alot better
USE DIFFERENT BRUSHES FOR DIFFERENT COLORS OR CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES, you said it best, you haven’t seen any bad tutorials.. yours is the only negative one I’ve seen....
I would love to see you do a favorites brushes. I need suggestions for better quality brushes. I have no clue where to start
Can you do an essential brush video for eyes and the face?
I had the same problem
ugh!! I wanted this to work so bad!
I love watching u & appreciate u always being honest! Ur so fun to watch, even when ur not happy with the final look!
Thank you for the honest video 💕 I know you were just playing with makeup but sometimes that’s the best time to see if something really works. Issa a no for me but still liked the second look 😉
thank you love!! I had fun sharing my pain. lol.
This palette is essence quality. For all the haters we are living in a free country. Everybody can say what they think. If something is not good you can say it. But jeffree fans are like internet spys and attack eyerbody who say the truth😎😎😎😎😎Russian moment here
I have this pallet and it works better then you're making it look ...
I completely agree! It also might be her level of skill making it not look good
He has so many collections. Wow ! At least you are honest I love that !! I can’t understand why he does this. Thy must pay him bucks
cha ching! and his own eyeshadow palettes are really good. It's a shame.
Wtf?!? Those green shadows were not pigmented, chalky and powdery AF 😳 maybe it was the brushes? I think I’ll buy JS makeup from his brand; way better quality.
oh, there's no comparison to JS eye shadows. I really enjoy his makeup brand.
Don’t let a bad review stop you from his collab with morphe. It’s really not a bad palette and those colors are actually good quality
I was thinking of spending my ulta points on this. I think I’ll pass. 🤔 but idk.. the palette is cute.
it's a good palette.
I don’t even know why Jeffree would put his name on this. Especially when his own products are actually legit. Very underwhelming
So that women who can't afford spend $52 can still enjoy his aesthetic
Let's run away from this collection as far as we can. :)))
yeah girl. 😊
Rude af
They’re pressed pigments....
I've had pressed pigments. They can be difficult to use, hard to blend, but they aren't see through. A pressed pigment doesn't need to be "packed on."
(Also, not all of the shades are pressed pigments.)
so you started off with a pink base and added green. if we look at the color wheel red is across from green, which means red cancels out green. Pink is a lighter shade of red so the greed will not be as vibrant with the pink base. you also are adding powder onto powder and power won’t stay on powder very well
If you knew how to use pressed pigments you wouldn’t have so many problems. I have this palette and I love it.
great that it worked for you. have fun.
@Luc not polite at all, just fake
I seriously love you. lol. 😘😘😘
Morgan Turner 😍🥰❤️you’re awesome just keep doing you 👍
yaaaas ❤❤❤
I literally have this in my cart as we speak but I might have to pass on this one.. thanks for the upload :)
defs play with it first if you can! good luck. 😘
Maybe pack it on first then blend the edges ,
Yes i agree. She has terrible technique. Very Sloppy job
I did an amazing green look .. looked nothing like this at all .. i think maybe you should use more concealer or an eyeshadow primer
i was so disappointed with this palette. i understand you get what you pay for, but i would like it to look at least somewhat decent. i have a few other morphe products and would choose them over this any day. i am considering returning mine but unfortunately i don’t have a morphe store in my state and doing an online return sounds miserable after reading the policy on the website 😭
i wanted to love it! ugh.
I agree that palette is a total failure which I was surprised. The brushes were not good either. They felt cheap and those colors didn't blend well at all.
The worst for me! Just washed right away. ugh!
I think it’s already kind of hard to collab when you own a makeup line that makes great quality shadows
i guess it must have been lucrative enough for him to agree to endorse it. 🤷
Okay you used a pink base, and your using colors that dont really go well together soooo.....
They may not go together, but that doesn't explain why the greens were see through even after trying to pack them on.
She also said she must have picked the wrong shades, implying some of them were ok.
The second look was pretty
Thank you!
thank you! I'll keep playing with it and we'll see where things go.
Awwwwww I’m sorry it didn’t work out it looks so pigmented that’s a bummer 💔
ikr. ugh.
Anyone think it’s the eyeshadow base she was using? I’m sure u can get better bases that make colour stand out
Disappointed it doesn't work on you. I used almost every shades and it was awesome on me! Maybe try to start to tap it before starting by blending. But everyone has different skin 😉
Thank you for your review!
Thank you for being the only NICE comment on this video 😘
Im a fan of jeffrey star but this palette is nothing like his palettes on his website the quality just isnt the same.
His palette works really well with me I don’t know what everyone is talking about and the shimmers are really pigmented for me so idk.
I am so happy it worked for you!
Morgan Turner oh thanks lol but sorry to hear it didn’t for you
sooooo I just bought it :I
ahhhh! Hope you love it!
I was playing with the pinks ones and torns in a alllll pinkk 🙁🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 and i play with more than 3 shades 🤭🤭
you are not alone. lol.
Mmm... I have this palette and each color works like a bomb for me... Pigmented and awesome. I always put an eye concealer on and never set it so it's tacky, then the color sits really well.
yay! glad it worked for you!
This pallete is terrible. I have it and Haaaaate it.
Lol you’re not the only one 😂
I don’t like it either. A lot of the colors just blend away. I get a lot of color on the outside of the eye, it’s like the color moves when I blend. I don’t have that with other palettes.
I love this palette! All the colors are so PIGMENTED!! I don’t understand why it doesn’t work for you...?
glad it worked for you! some have suggested using primer and using patting motions. I've just not revisited it - I have many more palttes that I like better. Happy you are liking it though!
Great and honest Review Morgan 🙌🏽🔥 this Collection looks so cheep and I don’t like Morphe .
lmao this is so fake, i did clown make up with the two greens and it was really pigmented
Kellie Binnie my pallete was the same no pigment
Honestly I’m so over morphe already. All the fake affiliate codes, the mediocre makeup and cheap brushes... I’ll pass. Ps I love your channel!
it's hit or miss!
1 . It’s the way ur applying every shade ur barley trying
2. Ur opinion seems completely biased
3. With pressed pigments you are suppose to pack it on first then blend it out
Barley? Like beef barley soup?
It looks more like a dollar tree eye shadow a kid would use.
I think you need to watch tutorials on how to work with pressed pigments because I have never had a problem with this pallet... your color choices are extremely questionable too... did you even try? This entire review felt biased. I mean, were you trying to convince us or yourself that you have nothing against morphe?
ニアピートゥングケルシ- this palette sucks.
Thank you for the advice!
Love jeffree but hate morphe
I dont' hate Morphe entirely. But I do enjoy jeffree's makeup. 😊
Watch stephanie calvillo do the green completely different amount of effort put in and that shows on the pay off you're just dragging this pallet down on purpose
Glad someone said it 🙌🙌
Just get better with makeup before judging the queen. Smh
Wtf. Lol. Obviously the way she was doing it was expecting the palette to be effortless and very pigmented. Her technique wasn't the problem.
If, for someone, a palette requires a lot of work to make it just passable for them, then they can say, "hey, I don't like this. This isn't for me".
She even proceeded to say that she must have been grabbing the wrong colors. In other words, she thought some of the shades were good. She just didnt like the palette overall. That's her opinion.
She didn't judge Jeffree. She judged the palette. Maybe she just got a bad one. There is such a thing as inconsistency. She's a working makeup artist who knows her shit and doesn't deserve all this immature hate. It's her job to review products, not kiss influencer's asses
@@LL-ku8cr she judged it without even trying, she was just trying to make everyone think that it's not good when there're los of reviews of a lot of people having amazing looks with this one.
Check out Popluxe. His review is hilarious. His eye look was horrid and patchy. He had to redo his look and it just turned out Meh!
I sure will! thanks for letting me know. 😊
Yikes! That sucks !
IKR. ugh.
Not interested in either Morphe or JS... And the pink packaging... 🤐
lol. Certainly not for everyone! 😊
Jeffree said he was going for the 90's Barbie Vibes, so what?
😬
😂
Look Inspiraton mold , puke and diarrhea 😂
Lol
Yessss, finally an honest review. 🙌❤️
I love this pallet... idk what u did there
That looks like shit. Thank you for your honesty.
you guys are killing me. Lol. And I always try to be straight up. 👍
Morgan Turner 😂😂you’re beautiful and an Amazing makeup artist and even with all that , I can see how bad this formula is. ❤️
Hi love you😍💖💯
😘😘😘
Looks like kids makeup, performes like kids makeup.
Gurl. Just saying. ugh.
90's Barbie Vibes are not for everyone, but the pigment is stunning! Have it and the looks you can do with it WHEN YOU KNOW what you're doing are just amazing
Sorry but is this video a joke??? You re throwing ur brush everyywhere on your lid and u wanna have a great impact?.... Weird
There pigments..so pigmentation is there....
I don't know if you did or not but boo I think the pigment would really show with any palette you use and get the true result if you moisturize your skin and some primer, and baby the way your holding your brushes ( which I used to do too) try to hold your brushes toward the end of the brush, and your barely putting any on and the pigment is there I just think you just need more practice with make up in general ❤️ jbh!!
But you’re not applying them effectively...
You are not using the right techniques for the type of pigment, watching you apply these was painful lol
