Dustin is an amazing screamer and tbh I think a big part of it is his sense of timing, he uses it tastefully to accentuate the song and not drowning a good song in mindless screams like some bands do. Vessels and Transmissions both have excellent examples of well done screaming.
The studio songs he doesn't generally scream in. He does but doesn't but in his live performances my God he uses it as a emphasis in a lot of his songs and I love it!
They definitely have a formula I feel like they stick to for a lot of their songs. However, I think the layers they add(like the synth in this one) and the vocals keep me coming back. It's always a treat when Dustin screams. Great reaction! :)
I've grown a great liking to this channel, straight to the point and good commentary throughout the song playing! No intermittent pauses or talking over lyrics constantly, I'd say your channel is definitely going to grow from the quality you're putting into these reactions
I can see how it would seem that way. Enjoying your reactions and the technical details you point out. What song would you say is your favorite from this album?
I kind of agree in the fact that they have a method to their music that can make it occasionally sound like the same song or repetitive. I thought the same when I first started listening to them and it turned me off Starset for a bit, but honestly, Dustin's voice, the lyrics, and the lore of the band can't keep me away lol. Keep it up with the reviews and kudos for sharing honest thoughts!
@@NaroStudios if you listen to their first album Transmission, they was a bit more creative in terms of structure. Like in the song Halo. It’s very cool and interesting composed. Check it out😋
I would love to hear you react to "Manifest" by Starset. Such a great song. Changing bands, I think you should also react to "Popular Monster" by Falling in Reverse

The bridge is just a masterpiece jesus

Somebody pissed off Dustin in this song! Dustin has a great scream and I'm glad he doesn't over-use it!
Great reaction!

I do miss the less traditional structure of Transmissions. I imagine it's hard to keep that up for 4 albums though.
@@NaroStudios their first 2 albums aren't as repititive, you should definitely check them out

They won’t open up with this song because each song fits into the lore and the way the break up the demonstrations
yeah starset isnt known for screams, Dustin screams in only a handful of songs per album but when he does it's very cool
Check out Digging it out by Downplay. Ridiculously long scream by Dustin lol.
Vessels has screaming in like 5 or 6 songs. It's only since divisions that he's toned down the screaming.
escuchenlo en slowed revert es increible
It’s not de-evolution it’s Devolution . ✅
