She cared for Rhett in the end * so much so she went to him where he was in part 2 * & he took her back * they stayed where Rhett was a few years * then the man ashley who lost scarletts best friend remarried* *showing women & men part 2 love true love is never to late ..2 people must truly love eachother or love will always be weak.. no good .. and adventualy always gone ..
It would had been a perfect movie had the two of them were not so cruel to eachother it really ruined scenes * then the parts where they pulled together accepted eachother out weighed all the bad parts *& made the movie a number 1 movies for 100 years.
