And STARZ just cancelled Ash VS Evil Dead just let you know. And STARZ really did a dumb move. And now Bruce is done. All the Ash VS Evil Dead fans were waiting for another season like 4.
Netflix would be a better home for this show but I'm glad starz was gutsy enough to do it because it really is one of the best shows I've seen in recent years.
It's actually on Netflix over here in the Netherlands. Took a hell of a time, they only dropped seasons 1 and 2 a couple of months before 3 came out, and now new episodes come out a day after America. Before that there was no other way to legally watch the show over here apart from buying the dvd's which comes out 1 year after the seasons end.
netflix in the states has it too i just wish it wouldve been acquired by netflix as one of their properties because it wouldve exposed it to a much bigger audience if thats where the new episodes/seasons debuted. that extremely long gap between season 2 and 3 hurt it as well. to bad bruce retired from playing the character
I really hope if there won't be a season 4 (even after the cancel on starz) there will be a continuation as a movie or something. It's one of the best series I've seen, loved every second of it. After all the dull paranormal activity type horrors during 2007 - 2016, this gory no holds barred one was a complete breath of fresh air, and also very funny. I didn't find out about the show until it came to Netflix and that was it's only problem, most didn't know of Starz existence.

I especially liked the explanation that the Evil Dead take on different forms and shapes throughout history, ect. because while I like Baal in Season 2, I didn't like that he was portrayed as the leader of the Evil Dead...it was too specific and took all the scary mystery out of it...until the explanation in Season 3. Brilliant and thank you. I still want to see Chet become a half-human half deadite like in the video game EVIL DEAD Regeneration. The voice acting was awesome! What a character that would be. It seems actually Pablo is sort of like that now being possessed by the book. Oh and STARZ...PICK UP SEASON 4 and BEYOND!!!

Not many people have Starz, so most watch it on Netflix. So even though Starz is a good network, it was definitely not the best place for it. Otherwise it wouldn’t have been cancelled already.
@@stevegiordano7544 But Sam and Bruce chose Starz because they knew they would get more creative freedom and no censorship that Netflix will surely do to them. That was why Bruce told his fans to support the show by subscribing to Starz or else it couldn't go on and what he predicted happened. The episodes were pirated and did not get the real time viewership needed for funding. That is the reality of any business venture. It happened with the two Evil Dead movies after the first Evil Dead. They didn't make money despite Army of Darkness being very good and still holds its own until today.

Who can blame him? He and Sam have been producing Evil Dead films even the remake but fans won't support with their own money. That is why Bruce has become a B-lister. It is not because he can't act because he became a better actor but because unlike Tom Cruise and other A-listers, his films usually bombed and have just developed a cult following which also happened with The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., a superbly written, directed and acted TV series. Brisco actually was critically acclaimed and yet did not get fan support either so it was cancelled due to poor ratings. It could have relaunched Bruce's Campbell career on TV when he was still young. I am an older GenXer so I followed Bruce's career which was such a pity because he could have made it as an A-lister just like Sam was able to become an A-list director and producer with some hit movies and TV series. Becoming B or A depends on how big the budget is and how much money a movie makes. Good thing, Sam was able to help his friend Bruce by casting him most of the time either as a cameo or supporting actor in his films and TV series.
WHATEVER GOES FOR ME I agree with everything u said. Very good points. I love how Sam and Bruce always stuck together. Sam made sure Bruce got at least his cameos in everything he did. And I’m almost Gen X but was born a few years after ‘80.

the reason they did starz is it was the only place to show uncut content, netflix would water it down
