The govt. we have now would abuse the kill switch. It's better to not have it. Your car is considered an extension of your home. They don't have the right to enter your home without a court order from a judge so they shouldn't have the right to stop your car without one too.
If this is installed in cars I foresee a lot of modifications that will start being made.
Just think, if the govt. decides they don't want people moving anywhere they will do a blanket kill and stop ALL cars from being able to move. What happens if there is a fire like in Maui and someone shut all the cars down like they did the water? I think we know what would happen.
