Gorgeous books, all the Poldark novels are enjoyable, mind you, Winston Graham is just a genius with all his novels. I HAVE been listening to the Barsetshire novels on audio for a change. Timothy West narrating is a delight. Love Emma too.

I love this tag, Heather! I got the entire Poldark series for Christmas last year and have yet to pick up the first book. I think you've inspired me to finally start it 😂

Do it! Watch it alongside the series (each season of the show covers two books) - well, up to Season 5. I think Season 5 could have been good, but due to logistical things, it was very different from Book 8.

This is a fun tag! I have been told I need to watch the Poldark series. Should I read the books first? I have this Susanna Clark book on my shelf but have yet to pick it up. Maybe this should be my book for Big Book summer next year.

Do it! In terms of Poldark, watch it alongside the series (each season of the show covers two books) - well, up to Season 5. I think Season 5 could have been good, but due to logistical things, it was very different from Book 8.
Definitely pick up Jonathan Strange at any point - it's so worth it.
