All sound advice, I have already sent this to my kids. Particularly like the quote “if personality is how you show up on a typical day, character is how you show up on a hard day.”

Goodness i have been learning to play the ukulele, by practicing one hour each day for three years. I have given up because I am still not very good.

How is this intimate if you’re not in the same room with him?

I really like Adam Grant, but Nora is the bad and very shallow interviewer for topics like this.
Interviewers need a mediocre level interest and intellectualism about the topic, and do believe Nora had none.
