This #short shows our process for dehydrating canned beans to use in backpacking meals. Beans are our primary source of protein on thruhikes. Beans dehydrate very quickly and taste wonderful.
Hear me out. Try dehydrating the bean juice you poured down the drain. It has lots of flavor and probably some nutrients too, could add it to soup or just mix it it in with the beans.
uncooked dried beans will take a long time to come to boil and soften. precooked dehydrated beans will be more or less instant. but yes they couldve cooked dried beans, then dehydrated them
Because canned beans are cooked and dry beans are not. Alternatively they could have cooked some dried beans then dehydrated them. They don't want to waste time soaking dried beans for 8 hours then cooking for 20 minutes when instead they can just soak these for 5 minutes and cook for 5 minutes. it's like the difference between dried rice and minute rice
They are imbeciles looking for tick tok views!😂 $2 bucks for dry beans they could cook them selves vs $10-12 a flat for pre cooked. Today’s youth are so lost.
Dude that the most expensive way to do it. One dry puns of beans is equal to about 4 cans. Just boil your own beans , or leave it overnight in a crock pot then dehydrate.
I absolutely love yall videos and awesome smiles
Ooo if you cook them with onions, peppers, garlic. It goes great with rice!

Anyone tried this to just snack on them without rehydrating?
Are you guys vegetarian?
You know you can buy beans in bulk one cup dry equals three cups cooked.
Aldi shoppers
Why don't you make your own? Bay leaves and parsley, cumin, paprika and water is all you need for fantastic beans
Sadly I cannot stand beans :-(

You seriously need to try freeze drying ... so much better and higher nutrition. I'm think I need to send you some of my freeze dried goods.
