    The thing that surprised me the most out there was the schools of snapper up on the surface in 60m. Also all my live baits got taken by them.

    The mokes is mean to fish man. We used to take the fc500 there all the time. The 560 nailed it though.

      mate! This is by far the best fishing ive done to date. love it

      Yeah man it was mad cinematic at the beginning aye. Loved the intro. That’s the style of vid I love to make.
      Here is the thing I’ve found recently... I did that on every vid at the beginning but I changed recently... see my huge trout small creeks vid. I talked to a few big channels and asked around and what I found was look for me and you I love the intro! I was impressed but for the 2 second attention span youtube viewer you loose retention and they click off which sucks cause it looks so good. So I changed it up on that video and that one vid got me over 300 subs and 5k views when my average is 1500 or so. And it was. Straight into action. Put a hook in... then quick intro. Then some broll. Then video with segments of broll. From that vid I will be running with more of that style going forward. Seems to work better. Or keeps people on for longer. That vid has 50% retention which is excellent. Others were 35-45% and when youtube likes it it pushes it. That vid was pushed by youtube for 3-4weeks. It’s not my biggest but it went well and it was the first hint at figuring out the algorithm. But the topic also needs to be one that is of interest, check the next vid “ultra light fishing for flounder. I think its quality. Hook in everything done right... but didn’t take off cause it’s mackerel and flounder not big ass kings or trout.
      She’s a fickle beast.
      But yeah if you can watch those two and give me your opinion. And maybe watch any of the older king vids for comparison. Cheers bro.
      But yeah I loved this vid of yours. It was sick as! You need more subs with those skills.

      @@AdriftFishing Thanks bro appreciate the feed back aye! Yeah those B-ROLL videos i love to make,however although they are cool ( well so i think lol ) they dont really serve a big purpose and purely for entertainment. So i need to see what else i can pull out to be myself as much as i can. Really i want to inspire fish anglers more then anything. The one's i have had most traction on is the slow jig deep stuff and the "how to" slow jig technique. Guess they serve a big purpose for most. That is my favorite way to fish,so more vids like that are def on the list!
      I will check out the vids your talking about for sure. Ive seen some of your vids which i enjoy watching, however haven't been through all of them.

    • @AdriftFishing
      @AdriftFishing 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers bro. I’ll check out your slow jig one too in a min. Love the thumbs too they look real clickable. Haven’t got into slow jigging much. But I’ve started a bit of a craze up here with horizontal jigging. Which you should try for kings man it is crazy effective. I’ve got a how to in my vids. Me in a grey tshit trees background holding a rod. I’ve been hammering it for over a year and just wrote an article that I just sent to fishing news. And they said someone else has submitted a horizontal jigging article for next month wtf! Beat me to it. Ah well any way if mine get published this month or next it’s all good. I’ve been doing it for years in oz. I know the truth lol! Haven’t taken to the slow jigging yet. I do it but I’ve struggled to get excited enough to make a vid on it. Maybe yours will inspire me to make one lol! But yeah man the horizontal stuf works from shore or boat and you’ll put fish stick bait 10:1

      @@AdriftFishing yeah ive done abit of shore jigging, so very similar to what your doing. Yup ive already seen your jigging stuff. I have the understanding of it for sure. But i love feeding kingfish a nice juicy jack mac lol
