How's UCL for masters in neuroscience is it the best choice?. And if you could update about queensquare campus or anything related to ""neuro"" it would be a great help. It's a request.
Hey! Unfortunately I’m not the best person to ask for such specific advice. I heard that UCL neuroscience is one of the best in the world, but I’m not sure about masters. UCL is building quite a lot so I wouldn’t be surprised if the campus was ready in 1/2 years! Hope that helps. Feel free to ask anything else if you need and thanks for the support!
Hi! I had recently gotten my unconditional offer to study Civil Engineering ( Meng ) in UCL, could you provide me some insights about the engineering department in UCL?
Hi Cheong, Unfortunately studying economics I would not be able to give you a lot of insights about the department, but I’ve been there a few times and it is a nice building!
I got accepted and hold an offer for Biochemistry and I will most likely start in September. Do you have any tips or things I should know in advance? Thanks.
That’s great, congrats! Subscribe to the channel to see more about UCL, got some videos already planned! My advice is to start making friends early being active on the various UCL groups on Facebook, and to get ready to be in London (as not everyone manages to adapt to it properly)!
@@riccardolovo I'm from Toronto and as soon as I see the groups I will join them on Facebook. Do you know if it is hard for me to change majors from biochemistry to neuroscience (as they are both in the medical field) and if so what the process is? Thanks.
@@riccardolovo Also since I am really into working out and going to the gym, as well as playing soccer (or football) what is your advice for finding a balance between the academics and my activities?
You will have to speak to the department, but from my experience if you get the grades that would get you in both courses and you ask in advance, usually they allow to change! (Obviously there has to be space left in neuroscience)
I have been part of the UCL football team for my first two years and I am also into the gym as I’m a personal trainer. What I would recommend is to just be organised outside of those activities. Obviously by doing them you will have so sacrifice slightly either your free time or your studies, but you can definitely find a good balance between all of them as many people do!
Thank you man! Regarding tube, it’s packed and expensive so I don’t recommend making it a daily activity! For activities such as the gym etc, I am a personal trainer and I used to play football with uni as well so you will have plenty of activities to choose from and to do!
Hey Paulina, thank you for the support and congratulations for your offer! Apart from making sure that your grades respect the requirements, I would say to just write a personal statement that shows how passionate you are about the subject!
Hey Khalid! It really depends on the module you choose. However, you have some compulsory modules in the first two years that can be quite maths based. Although you do not need to excel on those to get a first class degree overall! You also have modules that are completely essay based, so they balance out! Hope it helped! If you have any more questions let me know 👍
Hey, for the personal statement I'd say to be concise and to not bullshit, especially if you are required to do an interview! For economics, UCL requires a good maths background so come prepared on that aspect
Hey Veronica! Grazie!
I'm holding an offer to study Environmental Design and Engineering Msc .. ( hope I can make it there this September!) .. I'm Bolivian and I struggle to understand British accent I'm too "american" I guess... how's the international community there? Any tips for international students? What about accommodation... Halls of residence or shared apartment?Maybe you are not close to it.. but ... Is there something you can tell me about The Bartlett School of Architecture?
Congratulations on your offer Paola! Don't worry about the accent, you will be able to pick it up quickly once you are here. In terms of international students, in London especially there is a big community as almost half of the students are international. Accommodation here in the UK is usually Halls for the first year and then a flat with your friends ever after. If you are doing a Master in Halls you will find many people who are younger than you but if that does not bother you I would definitely recommend it as it helps a lot to socialize and find friends! Unfortunately, I do not know anything specific about that university. Hope this helped, if you have any other question please do let me know, and thank you for the support!
I warm my milk for cereal too! I think it's a foreign thing, I can't be eating cold cereal in the winter...

Is UCL good for masters in Earth and Planetary Sciences?????
Hey! UCL is good for masters but you should always check the ranking for specific masters as it really changes from uni to uni! Hope it helps

Hi bro, I just received an offer from UCL MSc Economics, I heart UCL BSc Econ has very good placement, will you continue to study master?
Well done man! I won’t continue studying for the next year but in the future I might get back to it!

Hello I am from the US and I am trying to get my masters in international studies at UCL. Do you have any recommendations/tips for my application?

I just applied for Economics at UCL, fingers crossed that it works out for both of us :)
