Not sure if this will help, I was told to put the zip in on the flat before you sew the seam up, that way you can sew down from the zip and have any excess fabric at the bottom. Hope this helps. Good to see you back x
Thank you Angela 🥰 yeh I’m sure you sew all of the crotch seams etc before putting the zip in and that’s probably why I’ve got a tiny pucker. I’ll think about the construction more next time 👍🏻x
Happy New year ! Re the trousers, you could always put a lapped zip in on the side. That way it will be flat at the bottom, though there are drawbags with a side zip too! You've some lovely fabrics there Gemma. Why not make another peony in the pine green. That would be lovely.
